2024 Week 4
Power Rankings

Delta Squad (OneTyrell) [4-0]

Change From Last Week: =0

Grrouchie's Ranking: 2

"The only other undefeated team deserves to sit here at the #2 spot in the power rankings. This is the 3rd team with an average score over 120 for the season and they are finding ways to beat their opponents down week after week.

Jordan love with a nearly 40 point performance coming off of an injury and then the power combination of Barkley, Sun God and Pollard out performed while they covered up the holes of Pitts, Johnston and Cook.

Dangerous. Let's hope they don't fire on all cylinders when they play you."

Slattery's Ranking: 1

"Yet again, Delta Squad scored another 120 point-ish game (give or take a few points), and this one is super impressive because it came on the back of basically 4 players. You know things are going well for OneTyrell when they're able to blow out their opponent with half their starting roster pooping their pants. With all that being said, I do have one major point of criticism: eventually this team needs to let Pitts sit on the bench because he is dragging this team down from their peak."

Dirty Mike & The Boys (HartyPGA) [4-0]

Change From Last Week: =0

Grrouchie's Ranking: 1

"Dirty Mike has his Boys undefeated and the don't want to slow down.  This isn't the most dangerous team in the league, but they are wildly consistent and perform every single week.  They have declared Nico Collins player of the game with his near 30 point performance while the rest of the team put up floor results that some teams dream of for their players ceilings.

Keep winning, stay #1"

Slattery's Ranking: 3

"Another somewhat disappointing outing for Dirty Mike & The Boys, but to give credit where credit is due, they did do enough to win and win handily. After their super hot start, this team seems to be regressing slightly back to the mean, but this roster has the firepower to completely demolish their opponents any given week. I mean, having a potential 30+ point swing in Dirty Mike's favor sitting on the bench kind of proves that point."

NotGreatBob (NotGreatBob) [3-1]

Change From Last Week: +1

Grrouchie's Ranking: 3

"Let's just run down the brutal beating that this team laid upon the Scumdogs.  Rookie Sensation Daniels put up 26 points as he looks unstoppable..

Zach Moss over 15, Evans and Chase approach 20, Hubba-Hubba-Hubbard over 20 and the REAL B.Robinson put up 18 points as they out performed the Scumdogs up and down the roster.

This team is so good that they still had Reed on the bench with 24 points and a 12 point performance on their Taxi Squad.  Hard not to have NGB ranked #1 as they are the most consistent and have the best average score for the season, but that one loss haunts them currently."

Slattery's Ranking: 2

"Good freaking lord, NotGreatBob is on a TEAR. 150+ points scored two weeks in a row is just incredible. What's even more incredible is this team's average weekly points scored is sitting at 127.70 with an 88 point performance in Week 2. If NotGreatBob didn't have that slight blip on their season, I would have a very hard time justifying any rank but #1. In fact, if NotGreatBob is able to score another 150+ points again this week, they might just land at #1 for Week 5 even if there are still undefeated teams in the league."

ShivaBlasts (jwv7244) [2-2]

Change From Last Week: +4

Grrouchie's Ranking: 4

"Stop laughing, I'm not crazy.  This team is absolutely loaded with talent, and I have been saying for months that this team could wreck relationships, ruin marriages and destroy hopes and dreams.

Stroud, Ken-Bone Walker, Lamb, Addison, Henry - All went over 20 points this week and could have won most matchups without the rest of the roster.

Have the Shiva Blasts figured out life and are they surging? Or will next week be a wakeup call?  This team is Legit and if they aren't even getting great production out of their entire roster.   HooooooDaddy"

Slattery's Ranking: 4

"ShivaBlasts put on a primetime clinic this week, holy cow. Let me paint you a picture for a second. After the Sunday afternoon games, Shiva was losing 100.3 to 112.54, and Shiva's two remaining players were projected to score 23.52 points while their opponent's last remaining player was projected to score 10.23 points. Now, if you're doing the math at home, that means Shiva was projected for 123.82 total points going into SNF while their opponent was projected for 122.77 total points, which in Fantasy Football is basically a straight pick em if we were betting. But here's the catch - KenBone Walker was EXPECTED to play on MNF coming off an injury, and there was no backup for Shiva to put into that roster spot if Walker had a set back during warm ups. Well, during SNF, Shiva must have prayed to the football gods because Derrick Henry put up 35.4 points, basically nearly guaranteeing the win for Shiva before Walker had a chance to play. Walker then decided to put up another 31.6 points during MNF, giving Shiva a total score of 167.3 points and the highest score of the season so far.

I think I have to agree with Shiva, they are #NotaRebuild and should be viewed as a threat any given week."

scumdogs (grrouchie) [2-2]

Change From Last Week: -2

Grrouchie's Ranking: 6

"The Scumdogs would like to formally thank the ShivaBlasts for going hog wild so that they didn't have to be on the losing end of the biggest blow out of the night.

The Scumdogs are one of 3 teams averaging over 120 points per game this season and are somehow sitting at 2-2 and fighting to stay in the playoff hunt.  Their opponents keep going ape shit every game and putting up huge scores.

Sometimes you hang your head and have a few cold, hard beers knowing that nothing you could have done was going to prevent you from getting your ass whooped like a red-headed step child."

Slattery's Ranking: 5

"The Scumdogs are ABSOLUTELY better than their 2-2 record, they have just had dreadful luck playing defense so far this season. They're one of two teams to have scored over 500 points on the season so far, they're one of two teams that have an average weekly score of over 125 points (in fact, they're second in that list by a difference of 0.57 points), and their depth pieces are starting to show that they have what it takes to make up for injuries and bye weeks by having multiple players have week winning performances while on the bench. Here's the absolute best part for the Scumdogs: they have an almost guaranteed win in week 5 as they face off against the dreadfully underperforming Fuzzy Logic. "

Michael Scott's Tots (BaileyOwen) [3-1]

Change From Last Week: -1

Grrouchie's Ranking: 5

"The Tater Tots had the bad misfortune of running into the studly Delta Squad this past week, resulting in a loss but still staying near the top of the rankings. They were let down by too many players this week which is cause for concern.  Josh Allen under 10 points, Coleman, Aiyuk, JSN and Odunze all look like they could be future stars carrying this team to championship glory, but right now it's nothing but growing pains."

Slattery's Ranking: 7

"This is the first truly disappointing week for Michael Scott's Tots, but if you look into it a bit deeper, you'll see this team is in a multi-week slide after being carried by Alvin Kamara for the first couple games of the season. Heck, Kamara tried his best to put this roster on his back this week yet again, it's just unfortunate that the almost no one else on the starting roster really showed up. Still, this team is 3-1 and there is plenty of season to correct any potential roster issues BaileyOwen might see behind the scenes."

PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE (lwinman) [2-2]

Change From Last Week: -1

Grrouchie's Ranking: 7

"Much like with the Scumdogs, was there anything that Prestige could have done to prevent getting whooped in Prime Time? Rice getting injured is a huge blow to the team and they haven't quite figured out their TE position yet.  This team isn't done making noise and they are legit contenders to take it all this year.  Once they pick themselves up from the FreightTrain that hit them they will be alight."

Slattery's Ranking: 6

"You know what really sucks for Prestige Worldwide? They didn't have a bad week at all, in fact, there is a good chance they would have won if they had faced nearly any other team this week. They just happened to run head first into the buzz saw known as ShivaBlasts in Week 4. In the end, I believe this team will be completely fine as they put up over 120 points for the second straight week after making a move for a few serviceable running backs. They just need to put this week behind them as an unfortunate joke by the schedule making gods and never look back."

Fuzzy Logic (Slattery) [1-3]

Change From Last Week: +4

Grrouchie's Ranking: 8

"I feel weird ranking the Fuzzy Logic the whole way up to 8th position, but they did just finally get their first win of the season and had a couple of players perform.  Mahomes wasn't awful (weird saying that) and Rookie Sensation Nabers led the team with 17.10 points.  Kelce had his best performance of the year but Hill still stinks without Tua and that problem lingers like a concussion.

Fuzzy, don't get used to being ranked so high."

Slattery's Ranking: 9

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but holy crap Fuzzy Logic finally won a game and had a majority of their starting players actually show up. This roster might still suck, but there seems to be a slight pulse for Slattery's season right now. Unfortunately, this might be the highest ranking of this team for the rest of the season as their upcoming schedule is BRUTAL with only one potentially winnable game in the next month."

codycast (codycast) [1-3]

Change From Last Week: +1

Grrouchie's Ranking: 9

"The CodyCast team showed life this week with a nice performance from some key players to get them a victory (their 1st of the year).  Burrow is maybe out of the pre-season finally? Dowdle and Ford didn't hold the team back with subpar starting RB play but Pittman finally saw a real game after his bum QB wend down to injury (weird, he also got better last year after his QB went down to injury). Mark Andrews currently has the plague and is only a starter in name, he doesn't actually play the games."

Slattery's Ranking: 8

"It seems that Codycast might be figuring things out after a slow start by scoring over 100 points for the first time and getting their first win of the season, all while getting absolutely nothing from the TE position. In fact, if you look at the season as a whole, Codycast's team has progressively been getting better and better each week. This week will be the real test for this team to see if they can continue to build momentum "

ScotchnWhiskers (ScotchnWhiskers) [1-3]

Change From Last Week: -1

Grrouchie's Ranking: 11

"Last week can be summed up with one player for ScotchnWhiskers - Carson Steele.

Hero last week, and less than zero this week. They were smart enough to start Wicks who put up a huge performance but they couldn't overcome that fuzzy feeling associated with alcohol poison."

Slattery's Ranking: 10

"Okay, let's start with some good for this roster: Wicks looks like he is special and should steal the job from Watson, Metcalf is great, Waddle and Singletary have shown in the past they can be serviceable starters, and with AJ Brown potentially coming back after the bye, the Hurts/Brown stack could be week winning by itself. Unfortunately, ScotchnWhiskers has to whip this roster into shape and start winning games before they're all but eliminated before we reach November 1st."

1-Putt Nine (GhostDad77) [0-4]

Change From Last Week: =0

Grrouchie's Ranking: 10

"This was a good effort for the 1-Putters as they put up a good fight against CodyCast. Stout Defense shut down Mark Andrews but they also had their own Duds which they could not overcome in Abdullah and Vidal.   1-Putt has a RB problem and that problem is that they don't actually employ any currently.  Any production from the RB this week and CodyCast would not have a win and 1-putt would be higher in the power rankings."

Slattery's Ranking: 12

"I really wanted to put 1-Putt higher in the rankings this week, because I love that a lot of these younger dart throw pieces are finally starting to show something on the field and produce for GhostDad77, but I just can't while they're winless. They also have nothing start-able in terms of the RB position, which will make it very difficult to win a game this season."

Get Out (Pads) [1-3]

Change From Last Week: -5

Grrouchie's Ranking: 12

"What can one say about this formerly great 1-3 team that is getting beat down week after week and even lost to the fricking fuzzies?  Oh, Pads is suffering right now trying to find a way to score points but being let down by guys that were supposed to be studs.

Cooper, Ridley, Etienne and Stevenson at one point put fear into you and this game they combined for under 20 points.

Ouch."

Slattery's Ranking: 11

"Things are going from bad to worse for Get Out. McCaffrey might not be back until November at the earliest, if he ever plays football again, Kupp might be out longer than originally expected as well, Etienne appears to have lost a step already, Stevenson might be benched because of fumbling issues, Ridley might have lost the only hope he had at fantasy relevance with the Mayo-Man injury, and the Watson-Cooper stack is just not doing it this year. If Pads can't figure something out fast, it might be too little too late once some these injured players finally get healthy."
