2024 Week 3
Power Rankings

Delta Squad (OneTyrell) [3-0]

Change From Last Week: +1

Grrouchie's Ranking: 2

"One of the top 3 high scores of the week and this team put a beatdown on Get Out.  Barkley is proving to be the best back in the league with a 33+ point performance.  Cook and Najee were solid in cleanup duty.  The Sun God and the Junior both had themselves nice games as well and this one never got out of hand and wasn't really close.  Delta squad is putting the league on notice with their 3-0 record and most points scored season to date."

Slattery's Ranking: 2

"It's so hard to find a fault in Delta Squad's game. They always score a ton of points, they always win their games, and their studs always blow up at just the right time to cover for another player that has a down week. The key for this team in the long run will be consistency, which they seem to have down pat already."

Dirty Mike & The Boys (HartyPGA) [3-0]

Change From Last Week: -1

Grrouchie's Ranking: 1

"Until someone knocks them off their perch, Dirty Mike & The Boys are going to remain number one.  Treat this league like King of the F'n Hill and ARich and his 50% accuracy are winning week after week no matter what.  Bijan didn't need more than 12 points so he conserved his energy. Dobbins didn't need to put up 150 yards so he took it easy trying to get back to 2 healthy legs. Nico wasn't feeling the connection and allowed DIggs to do the heavy lifting so he is ready for a playoff run.  LaPorta..... You get the drift.

You want a different number one? Then someone needs to knock the boys in the dirt."

Slattery's Ranking: 4

"The hammer had to drop eventually, but a win is a win I guess. Good teams only blow out opponents that are significantly weaker than them, great teams win those low scoring defensive struggles. Make no mistake, Dirty Mike's Boys are still a great team, they just have some work they have to do to make sure they keep performing up to expectations for the rest of the season."

scumdogs (grrouchie) [2-1]

Change From Last Week: +1

Grrouchie's Ranking: 5

"As I was about to sit down and type up the summary of my own precious Scumdogs victory over formerly great, fun to watch and annoying to play against CodyCast I managed to close my browser and went into a panic that I lost everything I had typed up to this point for all of the other matchups.  This was the next to last one that I would be going through and my heart sank into my stomach as somehow I stupidly managed to close the browser.

Luckily this is done on google docs and everything is constantly saved thanks to the only good thing that Fuzzy apparently is doing, since winning games and competing isn't one of those things.

Scumdogs Petty Game Ball goes to Dionte Johnson who's career might have been resurrected by the Red Riffle himself, Mr Andy Dalton.

This team was only let down by Bowers, Conner and Ty Chandler this week as they put up the 2nd high score and crushed the Codys.... the Casts.... whatever...

I couldn't rank them over NGB after the offensive showcase they put up.... so, we settle for 5th."

Slattery's Ranking: 1

"It's almost the same old story every week for the Scumdogs. Yes, they're loaded with top end talent. Yes, they're in the top 3 in scoring for the week yet again. Yes, they absolutely are better than their 2-1 record suggests. HOWEVER, this team has one glaring flaw: without a healthy Puka, they don't have a single good option for that last flex spot. I really hope that weakness doesn't come back to haunt them in the long-run."

NotGreatBob (NotGreatBob) [2-1]

Change From Last Week: +3

Grrouchie's Ranking: 4

"When you have one of those ""I can do no wrong"" games and your team blows up and throws the highest score of the season up - good things come to those who BOB!!!

Who is the best rookie QB?  Daniels by a mile. 90%+ completion percentage? Legs like a gazelle?

Zach Moss out performed his target.  Olave might actually be a good WR? He's starting to deelop.  But, the real bangers are Charbonnet and the WR that NGB shouldn't even have (And YES, I WILL FOREVER BE BITTER over my stupidity).    NGB Dominated."

Slattery's Ranking: 3

"I hope this performance shuts up all the haters after NotGreatBob's down week in Week 2. This team was so dominant they put up over 150 points while having a dud performance from two roster spots and a disappointing performance from their stud RB. As long as this team never touches their floor again, they are for real."

Michael Scott's Tots (BaileyOwen) [3-0]

Change From Last Week: -2

Grrouchie's Ranking: 3

"Undefeated? Check

Josh Allen throwing 4 tuddies and going over 300 total yards? Check

D. Smith almost getting Decapitated? Check

Tank Dell not performing with Nico and Diggs? Check

McBride possibly out for weeks? Check

Aiyuk holds out, gets paid and then pulls a Kenny G? Check

Thank Goodness this team has Josh Allen or this would have been a shore fire loss.

But, enough to keep the #3 ranking because they are undefeated."

Slattery's Ranking: 5

"Alvin Kamara came back to Earth after carrying this roster to blowout wins, and the Tot's had a much closer game than they were probably comfortable with. Don't get me wrong, this is still a good roster and has plenty to play for this season, but I feel like Week 3 is more of what normal will look like for this team the rest of season."

PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE (lwinman) [2-1]

Change From Last Week: +3

Grrouchie's Ranking: 6

"Dak rounding back into shape, Kyren continues to perform and Rice performing as if he were named Jerry.  These 3 put the team on their back and it didn't matter if Jamo went back to reality, Shaheed got ShaHut down and Jordan Mason finally showed proof that he wasn't the second coming of CMC."

Slattery's Ranking: 6

"Like I've been saying the last few weeks, if Prestige found a way to acquire some starting RBs, they would become a scary team and start climbing the rankings. Well, that's EXACTLY what happened this week. A few more statement wins and we'll know this team is for real."

Get Out (Pads) [1-2]

Change From Last Week: -2

Grrouchie's Ranking: 8

"When your best RB and your best WR both let you down in the same game, it's hard to compete.  When your opponent runs up the score and gets the 3rd most points in the league it's even harder to compete.

Rhmandre and Ridley, R&R basically decided to go on Rest & Relaxation this past week and let the rest of Get Out down.  Cooper and Montgomery tried their best to rally the troops but they couldn't carry the team by themselves and the result was a hard fought loss against the #2 team in the league - The Delta Squad"

Slattery's Ranking: 7

"There's not much blame to go around for Get Out's poor outing this week as it's pretty clear who dropped the ball (literally in some cases). Even if Ridley, Adams, and Stevenson had better games, I'm not sure it would have mattered all that much considering Delta Squad outscored Get Out by over 30 points. Some weeks you just have to shrug your shoulders and move on."

ShivaBlasts (jwv7244) [1-2]

Change From Last Week: =0

Grrouchie's Ranking: 7

"Shiva is coming in at 7 and atop the heap of 1-2 teams because I'm not going to fault them for losing to the #1 team in the league this past week.  They put up a good fight, if by that you mean only 2 of their players went over 10 points and one of them, King Henry, scored over 33% of their total points.  At this point one wonders if the Shiva Blasts can crawl out of this hole, and with the talent on their squad they should at least vie for a playoff spot.  White, Lamb, Stroud, Flowers can't all underperform every week and this is probably a strange week where they all did at once.

Shiva gets two more chances to prove they are legit before they start falling down my personal rankings"

Slattery's Ranking: 9

"Second disappointing week in a row for Shiva and I'm starting to think that my initial assessment of this team was right. Getting Jordan Addison and KenBone Walker back from injury might and/or should help things tremendously, but it's hard to win when your superstar stud WR forgets how to play the game of football."

ScotchnWhiskers (ScotchnWhiskers) [1-2]

Change From Last Week: -3

Grrouchie's Ranking: 9

"Listen, the only thing that matters in this loss  is that, somehow, in a season full of under performing Tight Ends, 48 year old Dallas Goedert somehow manages to put up 170 yards and 2 TDs in the performance of a lifetime, only for Wicks and White  (W&W upside down is M&M) and Waddle to all severely underperform and let the team down.

Word has it that Goedert has them chained up in his basement/dungeon and is giving them 1000 lashes of doom with a Singapore cane."

Slattery's Ranking: 8

"Man, when a team can't win with number 1 TE of the week in their starting roster, there must have been many players that pooped their pants for the team. Unfortunately, that's almost exactly what happened to Scotchnwhiskers. I still think there's plenty of star power on this roster that they should be competing every week, especially once AJ Brown comes back from injury."

codycast (codycast) [0-3]

Change From Last Week: =0

Grrouchie's Ranking: 10

"When you've been waiting all season for Eminem Burrow to finally come to life hoping that it propels you to victories, and he does and puts up over 33 points - Almost exactly 33% of your 99.96 points, but his connection with Higgins is crap, Andrews is only used as a decoy and Stud with The Mullet but Dud with ARich Pittman now sucks.

All of this leads to a wasted great game from Burr----ow"

Slattery's Ranking: 10

"Oh hey, I see you Codycast. You may not have scored over 100 points this week, and you may not have won your matchup, but the defibrillator you used on your team seems to be working. The pulse for this team is slowly starting to come back as players are starting to show up and actually score points. If Codycast can keep it up, there might be a playoff push come November/December."

1-Putt Nine (GhostDad77) [0-3]

Change From Last Week: =0

Grrouchie's Ranking: 11

"This was a tough loss from the Putters as they played a bunch of back-up caliber players and still were in striking distance (i mean, 20 points seems to be striking distance right?).

Let's play the what if game.

Andy Dalton over an Underperforming Goff.

Trey Tucker over Gabe Davis or Elijah Moore or Polk or Downs....

make both of those moves and Victory.

Instead, picking up Juan Jennings and starting him was a completely wasted move as the rest of the team watched in AWE but didn't participate."

Slattery's Ranking: 11

"Jauan Jennings might actually be the waiver wire pickup of the year. That player literally accounted for over half of 1-Putt's weekly score. Here's the question - will 1-Putt hold on to Jennings in hopes that this is a year 5 breakout, or will they sell high to a team desperate for some wins?"

Fuzzy Logic (Slattery) [0-3]

Change From Last Week: =0

Grrouchie's Ranking: 12

"Fuzzy is staying at the bottom of the rankings on the simple fact that they played zero defense and got BLOWN OUT by Not Great Bob.  Giving up a season high 152 points is going to doom you to being made fun of by this ranker and keeping you at the bottom of the pile.  Josh Jacobs showed his Mortality. Tyreek Hill is broken without Mr Concussion throwing him the ball, Kelce is over the Hill, Warren got out played by Najee (or injury) and then there is the stunning case of the broken down Gus Bus who couldn't manage to even put up an entire point during 60 minutes of football.

Fuzzy Logic is 'why am I still starting all of these broken down players?'

Too bad Nabers has to waste his talent on this loser team."

Slattery's Ranking: 12

"Whelp. Terry finally showed up, Aaron Jones BALLED OUT, and Nabers is just THAT DUDE, but that wasn't enough to balance out poor performances from every other starting position on this roster. At least Fuzzy finally broke 100 points ... Barely. Still placing this team at 12 until they show up and win a game."
