2024 Week 14
Power Rankings

scumdogs (grrouchie) [12-2]

Change From Last Week: =0

Grrouchie's Ranking: 1

"Up front - This is End of Season and as such my rankings will mirror the standings pre-playoffs.

Scumdogs with Jackson, Mixon and Sutton on bye still dropped almost 140 points and another win. They finished with over 1800 points and only one game under 120 points.

Kyler played great in relief of Lamar and Jefferson/Hill put up a combined 50 points.  Higgins, Bowers and Swift all went for under 10.

Scumdogs are ready for another deep playoff run."

Slattery's Ranking: 1

"Talk about a dominant end to the season, and the Scumdogs did all that damage without arguably their two best weapons in Lamar and Joe Mixon. With a week to rest and prepare, expect this team to come out swinging throughout the playoffs. Two more wins is all it'll take for this team to repeat as champion."

Delta Squad (OneTyrell) [11-3]

Change From Last Week: +1

Grrouchie's Ranking: 2

"Delta Squad stayed near the top of the rankings for the whole bloody season and finished as the #2 team with a 11-3 record.  This was a case of them playing down to their opponents because they barely squeezed by the #11 GET OUT winning by only 0.6 points.

Barkley came off his wicked high, Pollard put up yards but no score, Sun God and MHJ both put up duds and Kmet a big fat zero.

They can feel lucky to have won, got the first round bye so they have time to figure out how to fix the issues and make the championship game."

Slattery's Ranking: 2

"I don't want to say Delta Squad is limping into the playoffs as they clenched a spot a week ago, but OneTyrell has to be a bit nervous considering their very low performance in the last week of the regular season. Luckily for them, they were gifted the #2 seed and bye week, so there's plenty of time to figure out a game plan for their first playoff game."

Michael Scott's Tots (BaileyOwen) [11-3]

Change From Last Week: +1

Grrouchie's Ranking: 3

"The tots missed out on a 1st round bye by less than 40 total points.  The tots had a great season and in this game Josh Allen put up an unbelievable 61 points which is the highest single player score since this league went to sleeper (AK in 2020 is still #2). Everyone but Benson put up over 10 points and yet this was still not enough for the high score on the week - Crazy."

Slattery's Ranking: 3

"This team is gaining momentum at exactly the right time. Waddle is finally showing up, JSN looks like the #1 option in Seattle, the triple (or potentially quadruple if BaileyOwen is feeling spicy) TE start looks like it could work even in the playoffs, oh and this no named guy called Josh Allen is playing out of his freaking mind."

NotGreatBob (NotGreatBob) [10-4]

Change From Last Week: -2

Grrouchie's Ranking: 4

"In one of the highest scoring weeks of the entire year, NGB puts up 138.2 points which was only the 5th highest score of the week and they got blown out by the Fuzzy Logic by over 30 points.  On top of the blowout defeat, NGB was in a spot where if they just won the game they would have the #2 seed, but instead they fell back to the #4 seed and have to play an extra game to try to get back to the big one.

NGB has the firepower to do it, but so do the rest of the teams in the playoffs."

Slattery's Ranking: 4

"Okay, here's the deal. NotGreatBob did not have what one would consider a BAD week, but they did end up losing to the highest scoring team on the week. The very unfortunate part about the timing of this loss is they were kicked out of a first round bye because of it. Don't worry, though, this team has been averaging about 127 points a week, which should be way more than enough to go on a run."

Dirty Mike & The Boys (HartyPGA) [7-7]

Change From Last Week: =0

Grrouchie's Ranking: 5

"Coming in a 5th with a win over the #6 Shiva Blasts, Dirty Mike wanted to make a statement that they are a contender for this championship.  149 points led by Baker and Guerendo who both hit the 25 point mark.  Bijan nearly 20 and Shakir over 20 who maybe is developing into Allen's best target.  Let's see if The Boys can get over the hump and take the whole damned thing down."

Slattery's Ranking: 5

"After a very up and down season, Dirty Mike has to be breathing a huge sigh of relief as they were able to overcome being #1 in PA and punch their ticket in for the big dance. Now this team just has to hope the schedule gods are in their favor and they don't go against the highest scoring team every round they're alive in the playoffs."

ShivaBlasts (jwv7244) [7-7]

Change From Last Week: =0

Grrouchie's Ranking: 6 (but #1 in Grrouchie's heart)

"The Scumdogs favorite team, the ShivaBlasts get into the playoffs as the #6 seed.

The last two years a team without the 1st round bye has won it and Shiva has been playing like a team that can win it.  Kyren and Henry are going to be a force to recon with and maybe this loss was a bye week loss having Nix, Henry, McLauren, Flowers and Ertz all out.

Let's see if they can recover and put together a better matchup in round 1 of the playoffs "

Slattery's Ranking: 6

"Shiva has to be thanking whatever deity they believe in as they JUST BARELY snuck into the playoffs. Here's the excellent news: this team will have ALL their weapons in the playoffs, they have arguably the easier side of the bracket to work through, and they have one hell of the chip on their shoulder to motivate a fun playoff run."

codycast (codycast) [6-8]

Change From Last Week: +1

Grrouchie's Ranking: 7

"CodyCasts were in a tough situation. A win and ShivaBlasts loss would have put them in (based on points) but they were up against the Juggernaut Scumdogs.

Burrow did his part putting up over 30 but in the end they needed more out of Gesicki, Samuel and Samuel (that sounds like a pretty rad law firm)"

Slattery's Ranking: 7

"Barely missing the playoffs mostly thanks to another CMC injury and Deebo falling off the face of the Earth, Codycast has to be feeling down about this season. Here's some good news: there are a ton of pieces that have potential to keep this team extremely competitive in 2025, and they are the clear favorite to win the consolidation bracket. "

PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE (lwinman) [6-8]

Change From Last Week: -1

Grrouchie's Ranking: 8

"Prestige put up one heck of a last week, but 134.22 points just came up as unimpressive in this firepower type of week we had.

It was enough to beat his opponents and when you consider that he was trotting out Cooper Rush, Allgeier and Legette they did well.

Addison put up an amazing performance going for 38 points.  But, is this something we can expect from Addison a couple of times per year or is this something that was just a 'Gabe Davis 4TD' fluke?

This is a team to watch next year because the names don't scream elite but there are a lot of guys who showcased that maybe they can be relied on."

Slattery's Ranking: 8

"This past week showed the upside of the young WR talent Prestige Worldwide has been collecting over the course of the season. If this team has a good off-season to get healthy and acquire some talent at the RB position, they are in a prime position to make a big splash as soon as the 2025 season. Oh, and they have a really good chance to win the consolidation bracket."

ScotchnWhiskers (ScotchnWhiskers) [5-9]

Change From Last Week: =0

Grrouchie's Ranking: 9

"Finishing 9th place but had higher expectations led by Hurts.  Hurts and White both did their part in this game against Prestige but Metcalf and AJ both put up 6 points and when you have studs that are dropping turds, it's hard to stay competitive.  Let's see where this team goes next year because they have a lot of talent, they just have to gel better as a team."

Slattery's Ranking: 9

"2024 was a wasted season for ScotchnWhiskers, but let's be real here, this team has been eyeing a 2025 or 2026 run for a long time now. They have a few elite options to build around and four 1st round picks in this upcoming rookie draft. This could be one of those rare accelerated rebuilds in the making."

Fuzzy Logic (Slattery) [3-11]

Change From Last Week: +2

Grrouchie's Ranking: 10

"With the biggest bang to end the regular season, the Fuzzy Logic scored a league high 170 points on the backs of Sam Darnold's 50, Jacob's 24, and Nacua's 35.

They have been waiting all year for this type of fire power and here they sit at 3-11 going out with a bang. Let's see if they can build on this momentum and have a more positive 2025."

Slattery's Ranking: 10

"Fuzzy has to be feeling good about this blowup week. Having young superstars Malik Nabers and Puka Nacua to build around while also having Josh Jacobs, Cade Otton, and TJ Hockenson during their second contracts will provide a great base for Slattery to work with moving forward. With a good off-season to solidify this roster with more young talent, and there has to be a bit of optimism for a better 2025 season."

Get Out (Pads) [3-11]

Change From Last Week: -1

Grrouchie's Ranking: 11

"What is there to say about this team that hasn't been said all year long.  They came up short on the last week of the season and finished in the bottom two unimpressively.

Tua looks great with no concussion holding him back.  There are question marks at RB and their strongest players are at the WR position but are also older than the cosmos themselves.  Adams and Ridley.

Will next year be better?  Will they stay stuck in the crap pile? Will Olave ever play football again? Inquiring minds want to know."

Slattery's Ranking: 11

"It's really hard to win when you get multiple goose eggs from your starting roster and you're starting multiple backup/rarely utilized TEs in the flex. At least Get Out will have all their weapons available for the consolidation bracket, which one would think this team really could benefit from winning as there are lots of holes to fill in the off-season. I'll be watching this rebuild closely."

1-Putt Nine (GhostDad77) [3-11]

Change From Last Week: -1

Grrouchie's Ranking: 12

"As much as I'd love for the Fuzzy Logic to be in 12th place, the dice were rolled and came up boxcars. There appear to be a lot of positives going into 2025 for this squad though as Goff is going to be a staple on a great offense for a long time.  Jennings is everything the 9ers wanted Aiyuk to be and his production can't just go back to the bench next year. Meyers is consistent.  Winston and Herbert make a trio of QBs that can be used to acquire other players or DC,  They also have a lot of DC for next year to make improvements."

Slattery's Ranking: 12

"Things just went from 'bad' to 'very bad' to 'extremely bad' to 'holy crap this is awful bad' for 1-Putt thanks to the Jonathan Brooks injury. Imagine the future of this team if they took Brock Bowers, Ladd McConkey, or Brian Thomas instead of Jonathan Brooks. The worry has to be there that they'll be pushing for the 1.01 again next season now."
