2024 Week
Power Rankings
scumdogs (grrouchie) [9-2]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 1
"In a must win game against a playoff team the Scumdogs come out and drop their highest score of the season with 154.88! In spite of Lamar Jackson struggling and Jonathan Taylor losing both of his should be goal line TDs to the returning ARich and with Aaron Jones putting up an absolute Stinker the team succeeded.
Breece Hall put on his Big Boy pants and put up 27 points which was his best outting of the season. Brock Bowers caught 13 passes for 126 and a Touchdown going for almost 25 points and Old Man Joe Mixon ran in three touchdowns, over 100 yards and dropped 36 points.
The Scumdogs Dominated this matchup and had 3 10+ point scorers on the bench. The Scumdogs are now averaging 134.92 points per game and, if they have a couple of big ones the last few weeks, could challenge CodyCast for their single season scoring record."
Slattery's Ranking: 1
"After shocking down weeks from Justin Jefferson, Lamar Jackson, and Jonathan Taylor, the Scumdogs still found a way to dominate on the backs of Joe Mixon, Brock Bowers, and Breece Hall. It seems like nothing can take down this team now as they have everything going in their favor with their near perfect roster to push for a repeat title"
Delta Squad (OneTyrell) [9-2]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 2
"Delta Squad are still on a mission to keep their hold of that 1st round bye. They are now firmly in control of their own destiny as they are tied for the best record in the league at 9-2.
However, they have Dirty Bob on their heels with one more loss but a 20 point PF advantage if the Squad slips.
This past week Barkley (33.9) and Amon Ra (33.2) almost scored enough to beat their opponent by themselves. They helped to make up for Pollard going for less than 4, Pitts going for less than 2 and Hunt having his first bad performance on the season with only 6 points.
Delta Squad, rest of season, gets to take on Fuzzy and Get out for 2 of their last 3 games.
But, the deciding factor on the 1st round bye could be week 13 as Delta Squad takes on NotGreatBob
That is going to be a slug fest treat for the rest of the league."
Slattery's Ranking: 2
"Another great week and a solid win for Delta Squad. What's insane is this roster scored almost 20 points over their projected point total while Cousins scored 3.92 points, Pollard scored 3.90 points, and Pitts scored 1.40 points. The boom potential for players on this roster is now coming into view, and OneTyrell has to be feeling good about their chances in the playoffs."
NotGreatBob (NotGreatBob) [8-3]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 3
"Not Great Bob just won't go away.
Another 120+ performance and the only reason they are ranked #3 is because Delta controls the 2nd bye currently. Daniels wasn't on his jA game and Achane still looks like a game breaker. the real BRob returned and dropped another 13 points (beating out that other BRob). An Orange and Black WR dropped 23 points while Reed and McDonkey put up over 10 each.
And, somehow still making a difference David Montgomery put up over 20 for NGB as they cruised to victory.
Much like Delta Squad, NGB has 2 should be easy matchups with 1-putt and Fuzzy for the last 3, but all eyes are on week 13 as they face the Delta Squad.
These teams are separated by 1 game and a 20 point differential.
If NGB wins that game, the 1st round bye will come down to who scored the most points the last 3 weeks of the season.
INTENSE"
Slattery's Ranking: 3
"Man, NotGreatBob is getting hot and dangerous again at just the right time of the season. Get a zero burger from the tight end position? Down week from Jayden Daniels? Bad week from Rashod Bateman? No big deal, the rest of the starting roster laid down the hammer. Everyone in the playoffs should fear NotGreatBob as they have extremely high upside without Mike Evans in the starting lineup, who is coming back with a vengeance soon."
codycast (codycast) [5-6]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 4
"Since the time I have joined this league there has been one team who out drafted me in the dispersal and has put up points at an alarming rate and has always scared the tar out of me, and that is team CodyCast who doesn't even care enough to name their own team.
Right now, CodyCast is on the verge of surging their way into the playoffs and that honestly makes me shit my pants because they can take out any team any given week and with a rough start and what looked like a rebuild for next year, they are now in the playoff hunt and scarier than ever.
Burrow is ON FIRE. CMC is just ramping up, Gibbs is the second coming of Barry sanders watching him juke and jive on the field, Kupp is back and then there is the bench.
Stafford has some weird voodoo old man power that Aaron Rodgers wishes he could conjure. A benched Taysom Hill put up over 40 points while Mark Andrews put up 3 points
Yes - This team is dominating and the league is on notice."
*Note from the Scumdogs - Can someone please beat them and keep them out of the playoffs?*
Slattery's Ranking: 4
"Hot damn, Codycast is the most dangerous sub .500 team I've ever seen in this league. This roster is performing like a 7 or 8 win team right now, but unfortunately they're still on the outside of the playoffs looking in. Still, as long as Codycast keeps pummeling their opponents the way the did this week for the rest of the season, all the need is for one or two other matchups to go their way to sneak in as the 6th seed."
Michael Scott's Tots (BaileyOwen) [8-3]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 6
"Allen, Ekeler, Njoku and an emerging JSN all tried to carry this team to victory but they didn't ride high enough to carry Dell, Waddle and Smith dud performances when facing a Scumdogs team that went Nuclear. In A high scoring week, they would have been good enough to beat 7 other teams.
The concerning part is that this week they would have lost to CodyCast (trying for playoffs), Delta Squad, Not Great Bob.
Yes, it's that time of year where every team must size themselves up against their potential competition. Who is surging for those last spots and who is getting knocked out. The Tots, right now, are still in the mix but the competition is Brutal."
Slattery's Ranking: 5
"Unfortunate loss for Michael Scott's Tots this week, but BaileyOwen shouldn't feel too down as they put up one heck of a fight. Plus, Michael Scott's Tots could have handily won if they made different start/sit decisions on the week. This team is still nearly guaranteed a spot in the playoffs, and they have proved quite a few times they have just enough firepower to go on a run if a few dice rolls go their way when it matters."
ShivaBlasts (jwv7244) [6-5]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 5
"The ShivaBlasts are still rocking and rolling with some unlikely heroes. This week Bo Nix dropped 38 points and carried his team to victory. Flowers, Walker and Lamb were the only other ones to top 10 points but it was enough.
The Bench, minus the smart QB decision of Nix, probably outscored their starting line up this week.
Johnson, Ertz, Worthy, and Akers all over 10 points. Shiva maintaining their hold on the last playoff spot and look to move up the rankings as they play a struggling Scotch n Whiskers next week"
Slattery's Ranking: 7
"Another win for ShivaBlasts, but still a shocking down week for this roster. At least they finally decided to do the right thing and start Bo Nix at QB. It's also really nice to see CeeDee actually perform with Cooper Rush throwing him the ball (the Philly defense really is doing something special this year against #1 WRs, huh?). Shiva needs to have a pep talk with Henry, Williams, McLaurin, and Kelce because this team is going to need them to perform down the stretch instead of pumpkin like they did this week."
Dirty Mike & The Boys (HartyPGA) [6-5]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 7
"This is a punishment ranking.
You are fighting for your playoff lives and you come in and put up a stinker against inferior competition (my apologies Mr Putt)?
Bijan with 8 points? Hopkins with 4? London? Conk? Mooney? Chubb? Collins? All under 10?
This is NOT how winners perform.
Dirty Mike, with another performance like this, is on the verge of collapse.
Can they come back and save their season against....
lets...see....
Oh, They face the #1 ranked team and current Juggernaut Scumdogs this week.
Dirty Mike needs to fight dirty and pull out a Gritty Win or they could be on the outside looking in."
Slattery's Ranking: 6
"Really unfortunate loss for Dirty Mike & The Boys this week, but there is some good news: this team's playoff destiny is still squarely in their own hands, and all they have to do is learn from this loss and apply it over the next three weeks. The biggest issue Dirty Mike had this week game from the absolute implosion of the Atlanta Falcons. If those three starters had at least matched their projected point total (plus that first Nico Collins touchdown actually counted... it really should have if you ask me), then we'd be singing a different song about Dirty Mike this week. Unfortunately, Fantasy Football doesn't run on 'what ifs'."
PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE (lwinman) [4-7]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 8
"This team has found some promise for next year and they are playing for pride.
Wilson is not a long term answer, but he can fill in until Dak comes back next year.
Chase Brown might be lightning in the bottle, JaMo has finally become the big play threat he was drafted to be a decade ago, Addison still can find the endzone and Jerry Jeudy is breaking out?
This is a team to watch and see how it all pans out down the stretch and during the off season."
Slattery's Ranking: 8
"Prestige Worldwide is in a really weird spot right now. This roster is just good enough to keep them out of contention for a top 3 draft pick, but there's just not enough talent there to really push for a playoff spot. On the plus side, if the trends of the last few weeks continue into 2025, a WR room of Moore, Jamo, Addison, Jeudy, Rice, and Shaheed could be deadly on a week to week basis. Which means we're right back where we started with this roster at the beginning of the year; lwinman needs some RBs and needs them BAD."
ScotchnWhiskers (ScotchnWhiskers) [4-7]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 9
"At 76.44 points on the week they can say they weren't the worst team this week but, um, yeah. They weren't the worst.
Hurts was held in check, Keaton Mitchell came back and had 79 kick return yards but didn't get into the offensive game plan like coach was hoping.
Ray Davis only came in to give someone else a breather, Wicks was only targeted once.
Oh, there it is, last flex position.
MVS 87 yards and a TD for the lone positive portion of this roster this week.
Better luck next week."
Slattery's Ranking: 9
"You know things are weird for your starting roster when MVS is out there scoring the most points out of any non-QB position. Here are some positives for ScotchnWhiskers to dwell on over the next week: AJ Brown is still elite and grading very VERY well in all WR metrics, he just hasn't been needed much recently as Philly is an elite running team right now. Hurts is playing some really good football IRL, but like AJ Brown, he just hasn't been asked to do much recently with his arm. It's really great to see Keaton Mitchell back on the field, and should continue to get more work as the season progresses. DK Metcalf looked great back on the field after his injury and 7/70 is nothing to be upset about."
1-Putt Nine (GhostDad77) [3-8]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 10
"1-Putt came in and gutted out a tough victory as their team is trying to figure out their identity for next season. Herbert appears to be back and Josh Downs has replaced Pittman as The Man in Indy. Surprise performers Juan Jennings and Elijah Moore both put up good performances as well as this team is starting to get some players developed.
Herbert put up 27 points but was well outplayed by Winston at 32 and GOFF who BLEW up and dropped 45 points on the bench. Hoooo Daddy.
Another 23 in Turpin on the bench as he had a long bomb and a touchdown.
1-Putt could have put up over 140 points this week"
Slattery's Ranking: 10
"Well, it's not everyday you see a team outperform their projected point total by 30 points and get a huge upset win. I really hope 1-Putt is riding high after that win because not only did they get the win this week, but they did it on the backs of a few of their younger developmental pieces. On top of that, this roster will finally get to see what Jonathan Brooks can bring to the table fantasy wise AND their still in the running for the #1 overall rookie pick."
Fuzzy Logic (Slattery) [2-9]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 11
"It's so warm and fuzzy at the bottom and even when you make ugly, but correct decisions, and come out with a loss it hurts.
Darnold over Mahomes was correct. Is this something we thought would happen this decade?
Let's see if we can point to some bad decisions to kick dirt on the #11 team.
Gus Edwards over Allen would have gained points.
Lil Jordan Humphrey over Tillman would have gained points.
Stover from the Taxi over Hockenson would have gained points.
None of this would have spurred a win, but just pointing out how ugly of a week this was. Not Logical"
Slattery's Ranking: 11
"You know what's really unfortunate? I would argue this starting roster is closer to a 4 or 5 win team than a 2 win team (and the total points for on the season seem to imply that as well), but Fuzzy Logic has just been dealt a really crappy hand for this year's schedule (#3 in points against, only behind #1 by 40 points). While another loss doesn't seem like a great thing, I feel like things are looking up for the 2025 and 2026 seasons for this roster. A couple good drafts and a few more smart trades, and this team could be right in it again."
Get Out (Pads) [2-9]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 12
"Well, the good news is that they didn't have the lowest score on the week.
The Bad news is that Tua (30 points) and Adams (10 points) were the only two over 10 points this week and they combined for OVER half of their team points.
7 Other starters combined for less points than those two.
Looking at the bench, it only gets uglier."
Slattery's Ranking: 12
"Oh brother, I feel like things are getting worse and worse for Get Out as the season goes along. Everyone except old man Adams and Tua pooped their pants this week, and it's getting to the point one has to wonder how many of these players will be weekly contributors in 2025 and beyond. Granted, Pads does have a few high upside pieces that are sitting on IR, so maybe there is hope after all."
