2024 Week 10
Power Rankings

scumdogs (grrouchie) [8-2]

Change From Last Week: =0

Grrouchie's Ranking: 1

"Another 120+ point performance and a 6 game win streak have the Scumdogs riding high."

Slattery's Ranking: 1

"As we enter the final stretch of the regular season, the race for 10 wins is on! In first place, we have the one, the only, SCUMDOGS! Once again, they scored 120+ points on the week, and they had a blow up week from Lamar to overcome some down weeks from JJ and Swift.

I wonder if grrouchie is regretting trading for Aaron Jones and Tyreek Hill right now. Yes, Aaron Jones should continue to be a beast rest of season if he stays healthy, but I see a world where the combination of Estime/Puka outscores Jones/Tyreek rest of season as something just seems off with Tyreek and the Dolphins.

Here's the crazy thing - the next four weeks are an absolute gauntlet for this team. Every single opponent is either in the playoffs or is on the bubble hoping for a lucky break. Riding the consistency of Joe Mixon, Jonathan Taylor, and Lamar Jackson (and probably Justin Jefferson too, but we'll see if Darnold completes his transformation back to a turd or not), it's hard to see a world where grrouchie's team doesn't at least finish the rest of the season 3-1 or better. They better hope they have the 1 or 2 seed locked up by week 14 though as their team will be hit HARD by NFL byes that week."

Michael Scott's Tots (BaileyOwen) [8-2]

Change From Last Week: =0

Grrouchie's Ranking: 2

"It feels like the top  5 teams could be ranked in any order and depending on what happened last week, it would all make sense.  The Tots are this weeks #2 ranked team as they are on a 3 game winning streak."

Slattery's Ranking: 2

"It was a hard fought win for Michael Scott's Tots this week as the combination of Ekeler, Kamara, Pickens, and Kittle put the team on their backs. I guess Josh Allen was okay as well, but we really should be expecting more from him.

The rest of the team though? OOF. We know Odunze, Dell, and Smith can play great football, but there's just something keeping these players from really showing up week to week.

Javonte Williams, on the other hand, looks like he might have just lost his job. Hopefully BaileyOwen has a plan to replace him for the final stretch and beyond.

Taking a look at the remaining schedule for the Tater Tots, it's hard to see them doing any worse than 3-1 in the final stretch. I mean, their final three games of the season are against arguably the worst three teams in the league."

Delta Squad (OneTyrell) [8-2]

Change From Last Week: =0

Grrouchie's Ranking: 4

"Yes they are sitting at #4 in the rankings this week, but that is because they had a sub 100 game (even tough a win) which is not the type of game that appears to be what is needed when the playoffs come.  Everyone ahead of them this week dropped a 120 bomb or better, simple as that."

Slattery's Ranking: 3

"Yes, Delta Squad got the win, but the QB position is slowly becoming an area of concern for this team. With Lawrence out likely for the rest of the season, Love looking BAD in his last two starts, and Cousins being so hot and cold right now, it's possible this team will be one and done in playoffs specifically because their QBs pooped their pants at the worst possible time.

On a positive note, at least Marvin Harrison Jr and Q'uge (I hope I spelled that nickname right...) look to be taking steps forward and should absolutely be contributors for this roster rest of season.

Looking at Delta Squad's schedule rest of season, 4-0 seems very possible, but that matchup against NotGreatBob could go either way and will likely be the deciding factor on if this team locks up a first round bye or not. "

NotGreatBob (NotGreatBob) [7-3]

Change From Last Week: =0

Grrouchie's Ranking: 3

"Doesn't matter what you throw at NGB, what injuries occur, they find ways to put up crazy  scores and embarrass their opponents. Another 140 outing in the books for Actually great Bob"

Slattery's Ranking: 4

"Here we are again, the great and mighty Booooooooooooob is once again the highest scorer of the week. This time, they did it primarily on the backs of Chuba Hubbard and Ja'Marr Chase as a majority of NGB's roster actually had a down week. Getting Kraft, Reed, and Lockett back from bye should really help, and getting Mike Evans back from injury soon might just be the biggest saving grace for this roster.

I do worry about Jayden Daniels in the final stretch as he has multiple tough defenses to face in Philly and Tennessee (though he has a JUICY matchup against Dallas between those), and as we've seen over the last few weeks, Daniels struggles a bit when facing above average defenses.

Looking ahead, NGB was gifted a very favorable end of season schedule as their only 'hard' matchup will likely be week 13 against Delta Squad. There is a potential trap game in week 14 against Fuzzy Logic as NGB will be without their superstar QB and a few other key pieces that week, but let's be real, NGB should easily be able to handle that matchup. I predict NGB will finish the year 3-1, but 2-2 is also slightly possible."

Dirty Mike & The Boys (HartyPGA) [6-4]

Change From Last Week: +1

Grrouchie's Ranking: 5

"Going over 120 in a win keeps them ranked high, still 2 games out of first and sitting dangerously close to being able to be pushed off the bubble if things don't go right."

Slattery's Ranking: 5

"Holy cow, Dirty Mike took care of business this week with a 50 point victory over Get Out. Purdy looked Purdy good with CMC back in the line up, and Bijan was a BEAST on the ground (serious Falcons, just give him the ball first at the 1 yard line).

Dirty Mike is likely to hit some road bumps if Laporta and Bigsby miss any significant time, but hey, they should get Nico back any week now. This team will be down right scary once Nico gets back to full health.

Looking ahead at Dirty Mike's remain schedule, I see 2 easy wins, 1 very tough match up against the Scumdogs, and a matchup against ShivaBlasts that should be a game of the week, but looking at bye weeks, will probably end up being a near guaranteed win for Dirty Mike as well. 3-1 is the most likely outcome for this team."

codycast (codycast) [4-6]

Change From Last Week: +1

Grrouchie's Ranking: 6

"Putting up over 120 points with a loss only counts as about half a loss when my head is trying to figure out how to rank teams.  CodyCast has been on a hot streak and it seems that their rebuild on the Fly has made them dangerous when it looked like they were out of contention to start the year"

Slattery's Ranking: 6

"What? Codycast at 6 over ShivaBlasts? Yes, and I don't think I'm being that bold by making this ranking. Let's take a look at the last three losses Codycast has had. Week 6, Codycast lost 129.22 to 152.40, which is just a super unfortunate outcome. Week 8 was a more traditional down week loss as Codycast lost 98.36 to 110.78. Now, for week 10, Codycast lost again while still putting up a very respectable output, 124.72 to 140.98. Oh, and for the last 3 wins Codycast has had? 144.68 points, 114.54 points, and 143.84 points.

To quote one Aaron Rodgers, R-E-L-A-X. Codycast will be fine. Heck, they might be more than fine, they should end the season strong and carry that momentum into the playoffs.

Looking ahead, Codycast has 2 seemingly easy wins ahead of them in weeks 11 and 13, one sketchy matchup in week 12 thanks to byes, and then a very winnable game against Scumdogs as the Scumdogs will be without a good portion of their biggest playmakers thanks to byes. It wouldn't be surprising for this team to run the table the last four weeks, but it also wouldn't be surprising if they went 2-2 and finished the year with a .500 record. Either way, if Codycast makes it to playoff bracket, they will be a dangerous foe to face."

ShivaBlasts (jwv7244) [5-5]

Change From Last Week: -2

Grrouchie's Ranking: 7

"When it looked like everything was going right, your favorite teams favorite team sputtered and is looking to course correct as the playoffs approach."

Slattery's Ranking: 7

"I legit have no idea what's going on with ShivaBlasts. This team is just so hot and cold, and when they're cold, they're REALLLLLLLLLLY COLD. For example, they have scored under 90 points on the week 4 times, and they've gone 1-3 in those games. On the other hand, they've scored over 110 points on the week 5 times, but they're unfortunately only 4-1 in those games.

Obviously this team has the capability to absolutely blow up with King Henry, Kyren Williams, The Bone Zone, Scary Terry, and Travis Kelce as the corner stone week in week out producers. But then you have players like Worthy, Flowers, Douglas, and almost every single one of their QBs (seriously, just set it and forget it with Bo Nix. You're welcome for the free advice jwv7244) can just disappear every single week rather than hitting their expected points. Don't even get me started on the giant question mark that is CeeDee Lamb, because who knows how he's going to perform rest of season with a combination of Cooper Rush and Trey Lance throwing him the ball.

The sad part is this team probably needs to go 3-1 or better in the final stretch of games in order to feel good about performing well in the playoffs, but 2-2 is way more likely. Assuming the hot pieces stay hot, they should get two wins in weeks 11 and 12, week 13 will be a contender for game of the week as they face the Scumdogs, but then they'll likely lose in week 14 as over half of their projected starting roster will be on bye that week."

ScotchnWhiskers (ScotchnWhiskers) [4-6]

Change From Last Week: +1

Grrouchie's Ranking: 8

"At 4-6 still technically a chance to sneak into the playoffs depending on the way the dice roll. Scotch kept themselves in the hunt this week, but is it false hope or do they really have a shot?"

Slattery's Ranking: 8

"Once again, ScotchnWhiskers were carried to a win on the backs of the Philadelphia Eagles (and Rachaad White, too). That being said, it's hard to see them turning the ship around in the last stretch of the season as a lot of their key starters are just not producing at a consistent level. Waddle looked awesome for one drive and then seemingly vanished, Singletary, Robinson, and Westbrook-Ikhine seem to be reliant on one big play thanks to limited opportunities, and Ray Davis is just doing nothing thanks to James Cook being the guy,

At least Mitchell is back from injury and has a chance to earn the #2 spot behind King Henry for the 2025 season, and Metcalf should finally be healthy enough to play football again. 2024 might be over, but there's enough here that a good rookie draft could make this team dangerous in 2025.

For the final 4 games of the season, I have this team going 1-3 with their lone win coming against Prestige Worldwide in week 14."

PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE (lwinman) [4-6]

Change From Last Week: -1

Grrouchie's Ranking: 9

"A 74 point performance is not going to beat the Delta Squad who is tied for best record in the league.  Better luck next time."

Slattery's Ranking: 9

"Man, let me tell you something. This has been such a roller coaster of a season for Prestige Worldwide, and it's a downright shame that we're on a downward slope right now. They started off with such a strong core everywhere except RB, made a few trades to get some RBs, but then everything just kind of fizzled out after those moves. It's really a shame, because I thought this team did everything right to make themselves competitive, but the fantasy football gods apparently saw it a bit differently.

For week 10, their lone bright spots were Russell Wilson and Chase Brown. Both look to have found something as they have slowly morphed into borderline great-to-elite options every week. Evan Engram also looked good, but it's hard to be a bright spot for fantasy when you lead your team in receiving yards with 40 yards.

Looking ahead, there's not much optimism to be had. There are 3 really touch matchups in a row followed by a matchup against ScotchnWhiskers in week 14 that is a coin flip but I've already mentally given the win to ScotchnWhiskers. 0-4 in the last four weeks is probably what's going to happen."

Fuzzy Logic (Slattery) [2-8]

Change From Last Week: =0

Grrouchie's Ranking: 10

"Right now the Fuzzy Logic are serving as practice games for playoff hopefuls.  However, they are coached strong and armed for a good off season and draft.  By this time next year the Logic won't be Fuzzy any more, we might see the plan come to fruition!"

Slattery's Ranking: 10

"Another loss and another week where Fuzzy Logic failed to reach their expected point total. At this rate, no one is shocked by this result, and the best thing I can do for my own sanity is to look forward to 2025. Here's the overly optimistic and very biased view of my own team.

Puka is just him, enough said. Nabers is still that guy, but won't produce for fantasy while Daniel Jones is throwing him the ball. Good news is the Giants will probably have a different starting QB in 2025. Hockenson looks good coming off the injury. Otton was okay this week compared to the rest of the TE position, and he was especially fine when compared to the rest of Tampa's offensive outputs. Jaylen Warren looks like the player we all remember from 2023 now that he's healthy. Estime has a chance to win the job for 2025 now that he's finally getting on the field. JJ MacCarthy absolutely has a job next year as the Darnold experience is coming to an end, and he should be a great option at QB paired with Mahomes in 2025. Oh, and getting Tillman and Jacobs back from bye will be excellent.

This team is not winning another game unless there's a random blow up week. Four matchups in a row against contenders, easy to predict 0-4 the rest of the season (but in my heart I want to play spoiler and win at least one of them)."

Get Out (Pads) [2-8]

Change From Last Week: =0

Grrouchie's Ranking: 11

"Hello rebuild my old friend. Do I have anything to trade away again? I need more Draft Capital, so that next year my squad is not in the Hospital..... (name that tune)"

Slattery's Ranking: 11

"I don't know what it is, but this team just looks broken on the field. Tua looks like a shell of himself. Etienne, Spears, and Stevenson look slow and barely able to do anything anymore. Kincaid has done almost nothing all season and is now battling an injury. Davante Adams looks fine on some plays, but also looks like he's barely trying on other plays. Also, it's hard to do anything when you have a pumpkin throwing you the ball (just ask Nabers, he knows all about it).

Even the one bright spot on Get Out's roster, Calvin Ridley, has to come with a giant asterisk behind it. Ridley is getting up there in age and likely won't have Mr Mayo himself throwing the ball to him next season.

There's maybe 1 win for this team during the final stretch, and even then, I'm not sure Get Out has what it takes to beat 1-Putt Nine right now. 1-3 or 0-4 is my guess."

1-Putt Nine (GhostDad77) [2-8]

Change From Last Week: =0

Grrouchie's Ranking: 12

"This week, there is nothing more to be said.  They are on the practice greens warming up for next week."

Slattery's Ranking: 12

"I was incredibly optimistic about this roster for the second half of the season, and so far, nothing has really gone right for this team. Josh Downs and Jauan Jennings are the lone bright spots on this roster, and arguably, Downs is really the only exciting piece from a dynasty perspective. Heck, it's even hard to be excited about Jonathan Brooks now that Chuba got paid. Siiiiiiigh. I really hope 1-Putt Nine has an incredible draft, because this is getting painful to look at.

If I'm being optimistic, this team will go 1-3 down the stretch as their matchup against Get Out is kind of a coin flip. 0-4 seems more realistic, sadly. At least 1-Putt can start getting excited about the 1.01 in the 2025 Rookie Draft."
