2023 Week 7 Rankings
Get Out (Pads) [5-2]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 1
"Pads is on a roll and has Rocked his way to 1st place in my rankings, finally. Rookie Sensation Gibbs finally looked explosive and had the backfield mostly to himself. Etiene and CMC both put together solid game winning performances and masked the fact that Kupp is seemingly relegated to 2nd fiddle. Can Pads keep this ball rolling and stay in first or will the top teams be thrown into chaos again next week?"
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 2
"Pads came out with yet another fantastic performance in week 7. Gibbs looked great with Montgomery being out. Etienne continued his wonderful season and CMC was able to find the endzone yet again. Pads has some interesting decisions at TE with Logan Thomas, Gerald Everett, and now Dalton Kincaid should see an increase in production with Knox going on IR. This team will continue to look scary as the season rolls on."
lwinmin's Ranking: 1
"Pads dominated in week 6 and extended his streak to 5-2. He has the 2nd most Points For in the league. The lineup speaks for itself. I think that Pads is in a tier of his own when his roster is healthy. Etienne has been absurd as of late. Kupp and McCaffrey are always going to get their own. Pads is going to be #1 for a while if his team stays healthy. "
Scumdogs (grrouchie) [5-2]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 4
"You know when the second highest score on the week sucks? When you play the highest scoring team. Lamar Jackson put up almost 40 points. Puka balled out for 19.4, Jonathan Taylor is coming back into form and put up nearly 20 points. Too bad the team doesn't employ a healthy TE and was forced to start Rondale Moore and D. Harty.
An epic battle of commissioners ended up being the game of the week in this high scoring affair where the Scumdogs came up just a little short. Barf."
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 1
"The Scumdogs came out throwing haymakers but couldn’t do enough to get over the hump in the battle of the commissioners. Sutton put up a good score while Pitty City was welcoming in tourists again. Puka went big with 154 yards. JT got 21 touches and was productive with them. Even Ford had a good game before injuring his ankle. Lamar put up nearly 39 points and this team still lost by 27 points. The second highest score on the week and just unfortunately went up against the king of the week. This team is a scary sight, especially once bye weeks are over."
lwinmin's Ranking: 3
"Despite Scum putting up 134 points in week 7 he still took the loss as the commish stacked Mahomes and Kelce against him. Lamar is coming into his own though and Scum should be happy with the production he's getting. Mixon is back this week and he will need to step up with Ford missing some time. "
NotGreatBob (NotGreatBob) [5-2]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 2
"NGB didn't put up a great game, but they pulled out the win and sometimes that is all that matters. Coach finally benched Mac Jones, who then goes on to have his best game of the season and outperformed "starter" Derrick Carr! In fact, this offensive performance was so mediocre that only Carr and Mike Evans put up over 10 points but, in the end it didn't matter because his opponent didn't show up to play."
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 3
"What looked like a top matchup coming in turned out to be a defensive battle between NGB and PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE. Mike Evans might arguably be the only bright spot of the week for this squad. Olave saw 15 targets but could only catch 7 for 57 yards and a fairly disappointing game. Locket only caught 4 passes and none of them resulted in a big gain or TD. Moss might start losing more touches to JT, and the other BRob was inefficient, but luckily scored a TD. A pretty disappointing week, but NotGreatBob will walk away from week 7 with a victory with only 2 teams scoring less points on the week."
lwinmin's Ranking: 4
"Despite having a low scoring week Bob still grabbed a W to bring his team to 5-2. Now I've dropped him to 4 because of the Olave situation. Olave is having issues with Carr and his own car. The man needs to get some things figured out. Bob is going to have to get his roster in shape and maybe hand out some fines if they can't stay in line. "
Fuzzy Logic (Slattery) [4-3]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 3
"The battle of the Commissioners was indeed an epic battle but the Fuzzy Logic just had more horsepower to outperform and outlast the Scumdogs. Mahomes/Kelce Stack blew up for over 70 points. Foreman put up a career performance with 3 TDs and over 30 points. Tyreek added another 20 points and all that made up for the fact that Bust Williams put up a zero point dud. This beer is for you Fuzzy.
Man that hurt.
Typing those words made my fingers bleed and I think I have to puke."
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 4
"Fuzzy Logic decided to lay the hammer on the Scumdogs this week. Both teams put up some monster numbers. Mahomes and Kelce combined for nearly 72 points which would have beat two teams in week 7. ForeMAN had 3 total touchdowns and put up a career day. Tyreek had another touchdown and caught 11 passes for a nice day as well. 161 points and Jameson put up a goose egg! This team is much scarier than the 4-3 record that we see."
lwinmin's Ranking: 2
"Fuzzy is #1 in Points for and sitting at 4-3. Each week seemingly a new guy makes a splash to help grab the W. This roster has solid depth while also having serious studs. If Aaron Jones and Josh Jacobs can get on track he could make a case for #1. Until then Slattery is sitting at 2."
Michael Scott's Tots (BaileyOwen) [4-3]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 5
"The Tots came out to play against CodyCast who decided to put up over 100 points in a loss. The Tots, lead by Josh Allen and his 27 points smacked last years scoring champion around. Kamara is the man of 1000 targets this year since his rushing abilities have died off and Shout out to George Pickens since I'm a Steelers fan who probably can't trade for the dude! These Tots were cooked to perfection in this victory."
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 6
"The Scott’s Tots are totally unsure if they are going to compete for a title or just continue the rebuild for another year. This team had the third highest score of the week. Kamara is seeing targets at a historic rate and is the RB19 after missing the first 3 weeks of the season. Pickens saw 8 targets and was able to put up over 100 yards while Michael Thomas caught 3 of his 7 targets but found the end-zone. JSN also scored a touchdown but was chilling on the bench. Scott’s Tots are hoping for a second half boost for Smith-Njigba and also Trey McBride now that Ertz will miss some time. The rollercoaster season rolls on for Michael Scott’s Tots."
lwinmin's Ranking: 5
"Scott's Tots is 4-3 on the year and Alvin Kamara has been awesome since he's returned. Kamara was really the juice this roster needed. Now if he can get Devonta Smith to step up then the wins will start to flow. "
PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE (lwinman) [4-3]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 6
"Putting Prestige this high after such a terrible performance really feels like I'm doing him favors because he venmo'd me $80 bucks to buy Baldurs Gate 3 on Steam, but that totally isn't what happened. Nope. Not at all. Presitge played Not Great Bob and his opponent only had two players go over 10 points. Presigue said ""hold my beer"" as only Russell Wilson went over 10 and everyone else put the brakes on. Funny to see Swift, Mostgert, Ridley, Engram, Moore, Brown and Adams all under perform in the same week. This has to be a full moon and life will resume to normal next week for Coach Iwinman, right?
Also, after this dud, changing his name to Iloseman."
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 5
"An extremely disappointing week from PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE. This squad decided to put up a dud and ended up with the second lowest score of the week. There really aren't a lot of positives to talk about with this performance. DangeRuss was meh and just happened to be the only double-digit scoring player in the starting roster. Hunt was left on the bench with his 2 TDs, but even that change would not have helped bring home a win. Ridley only caught 1 pass and the panic alarms should be loud at this time. Adams finally saw more targets but was 7/12 for only 57 yards. This team should flush this week down the toilet and needs to regroup for week 8."
lwinmin's Ranking: 6
"Prestige Worldwide put up a serious dud in week 7. Not even cracking 70 points. Davante Adams is going to need to have better performances going forward if they want a real shot at the ship this year. "
ScotchnWhiskers (ScotchnWhiskers) [3-4]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 9
"Down the Hatch, another scotch warming the throat of the owner as ScotchnWhiskers narrowly lost to September 2008 by exactly 6 points. Now, lets perform an experiment and see if we could find 6.01 magically hidden points on their bench.
Oh, there it is. Let's look no further than dumping that Lack of Talent Zach Evans (who's idea was it to start this dude?) and putting Tyler Allgeier (12.70 points) into the roster and BLAMMO!!! InstaWin!
You know, that's gotta hurt! "
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 7
"Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown combined for 51 fantasy points and that accounted for over half of this team’s point total. Evans was a waste of a starting lineup spot throwing up a big ol’ goose egg. Justice Hill did squat, and now there’s rumor or Baltimore trading for a running back. Skyy Moore can’t produce with his targets. Kendrick Bourne looks like a startable asset going forward. There aren’t too many big names on this roster, so the depth pieces will need to produce in order to be competitive."
lwinmin's Ranking: 7
"Sitting at 3-4 ScotchnWhiskers had a tough loss in week 7. Losing by only 6 points. Bourne, Brown, and Flowers have all stepped up. However, the RB position needs work. Derrick Henry was on bye and if he had been playing this team may be at 4-3 instead. Also, will Henry be moved from Tennessee before the deadline?? "
Delta Squad (OneTyrell) [3-4]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 7
"When Kirk Cousins shows up in prime time you know the stars have aligned and Delta Squad dominated this game. Only 3 guys on the team were below 10 on the week and one of those was a zero, and none of it mattered. The Delta Squad is firing and firmly in the playoff hunt with performances like this one."
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 9
"Delta Squad put together another strong performance in week 7 and managed to take home the victory. Kirk diced up that 49ers defense. Saquon had a solid week but fumbled the ball a couple of times to hurt his day. James Cook has to compete with Latavius Murray now, but at least he can find the end zone for a productive performance. Amon Ra had a good week seeing 19 targets and hauling in 13 of them for over 100 yards. Cole Kmet put up the goose egg but that didn’t even make a difference in this outcome."
lwinmin's Ranking: 8
"Delta Squad got a nice win in week 7 to get them to 3-4. Even with STUD Adam Thielen on bye. Delta is taking on Scum this week so it's safe to say Amon Ra, Saquon, Cousins, Pollard, and Thielen will need to bring their A games."
codycast (codycast) [2-5]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 10
"2 - 5. Sitting near the bottom of the league and the bottom of the rankings. When Gus Edwards is your best performer for the week you know something went wrong. Oh, I know. Starting Ekeler over Josh Kelly was a mistake. Leaving in Jeff Wilson instead of Taysom Hill was a mistake. Mattison over Darrell Henderson the couch potato was a mistake. I mean, how many bad coaching decisions can one guy make.
Wake Up CodyCast!!!"
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 8
"Some of the big names came out but could not do enough to help take home the victory. Mark Andrews scored twice on 4 receptions. Christian Kirk was 6/6 for 90 yards and a TD. Diggs was able to produce seeing 12 targets but only hauling in 6 of them with a TD. The Gus Bus had the pedal to the metal and put up over 20 fantasy points. Unfortunately Ekeler was disappointing with 5 points despite scoring a touchdown. Ekeler is on the trade block, so we’ll see if Codycast can make a big move to try and turn the 2-5 season around."
lwinmin's Ranking: 9
"CodyCast is sitting at 2-5 and it looks like it may be time to sell. The roster is packed with solid guys who could help a win now team. Ekeler and Sanders have both had disappointing seasons thus far. Both have been added to the trade block. Looks like this team may have their sights set on next season."
September...08! (GhostDad77) [3-4]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 8
"I remember September 2008... or is it September 8th? I'm confused by the random name of the GhostDad team but what they did this week was 1-Putted themselves to victory. Pacheco seems to be for real in that chiefs offense. Jacoby Meyers is so thankful that the Pats replaced him with JuJu. Goedert is waking up. Even with Gabe Davis putting up 1.10 points they beat Scotch.
Drink this victory up guys."
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 10
"Another close and low scoring matchup that will result in a win for Ghostdad. Pacheco is still getting the workload in KC while Meyers saw 13 targets in LV. Goedert decided to play football again and is either a hit or a miss. Ghostdad needed all 16 of those points for the victory though. Josh Downs looks like a stud with Gardner taking over. 6 targets looks like the minimum that he will receive on a weekly basis. There is still not much depth to talk about so Ghostdad needs to hope his bigger names can help remain competitive throughout the remainder of the season."
lwinmin's Ranking: 10
"GhostDad still has plenty of hope left as they are 3-4 on the year. With 663 Points for on the season they could be either buyers or sellers. Josh Downs as turned out to be a really nice piece on the team. Pierce has been very bad this year, so if he can turn his season around it would help out GhostDad a ton."
ShivaBlasts (jwv7244) [2-5]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 11
"Sometimes it is hard to put blame on the coach. The coach makes their best, informed decisions and the players go out there and think they are playing Basketball instead. Desean Watson is currently pulling the greatest Heist the NFL has ever seen. Worse than the whole Albert Hainsworth debacle. On the positive side, Addison balled out without Jefferson and Waller put up a great game as well."
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 12
"Not the performance that jwv was looking for in week 7. Watson did more damage by putting up negative points. Darren Waller found the endzone and had 7 receptions with nearly 100 yards on the week. Kenneth Walker remains to be the guy in Seattle and still looks good. Jordan Addison had a fantastic week with 2 TDs on 7 catches and 123 yards. This team doesn’t have much star power, but there are definitely some fun young pieces to watch out for."
lwinmin's Ranking: 11
"ShivaBlasts at 2-5 and the 2nd lowest points for. With no one on the trade block this team may still be chugging along for a playoff spot so don't count them out just yet. Stroud is coming back from bye. White has put up back to back reasonable games and Addison is going to get targets galore without JJ there. With Walker and Waller on the squad this team does have a realistic shot at the playoffs. But they need to start winning ASAP. "
Dirty Mike & The Boys (HartyPGA) [2-5]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 12
"Dirty Mike pulled a trick on the league and is currently sitting in last place. When your starting RBs combine for a TOTAL of 0.30 points you know you done screwed up somewhere. LaPorta-Potty is aptly named to be on this team and, sir, you flushed all your points down the potty this week."
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 11
"Well it was nice ranking Dirty Mike and the Boys #1 for a week. I guess they all went out celebrating because no one showed up for week 7. Ingram was active…I think? He didn’t do anything. Bijan had the sniffles and only got 1 touch for a complete dud. The Fried Wan’Ton only caught 1 pass for 22 yards. At least Kirk could go big in primetime and Powell was a benefactor of it. London and Godwin each caught 6 passes but couldn't do much with them. Sam LaPorta looks like a legit rookie TE though, so at least there’s 2 exciting rookies to watch!"
lwinmin's Ranking: 12
"Dirty Mike has leaped from the #1 spot to #12. 2-5 and the lowest PF in the league at the moment. Could they be selling soon alongside Codycast? Idk how that would work tbh. Only time will tell."
