2023 Week 4 Rankings
PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE (lwinman) [3-1]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 1
"And making their Debut at the #1 spot in the rankings is Prestige who had a great day on the field Beating Delta Squad. They are tied for the best record in the league and have scored the most points in the process which is why they are sitting on top this week. DJ Moore came alive with a 23 point outburst, by far his best of the season and made up for Mostert and Deebo both putting up duds. This is a team with a lot of fight in them."
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 2
"The back to back boom games came to an end this week, but the win streak will live on. PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE did enough to take home the narrow victory this week. Mostert didn’t go off this week and couldn’t carry the team. Ridley scored in London but that was just about all he did. Deebo only had 6 yards on the day and it’s looking like he’s the second option behind Aiyuk. At least DJ Moore put up a good enough game to squeak out the win. This team will look to stay hot and win their 4th matchup in a row."
NotGreatBob (NotGreatBob) [3-1]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 3
"Oh how the Mighty have fallen. NGB ran into the mighty Shiva Blasts and... well, lets face it. Both teams underperformed but NGB really ished the bed. Mac Jones wins "opponents best friend" award by going Negative on the week thus, basically, giving Shiva points. NGB did so bad that Mac, Olave, and Hurst combined for 1.8 points. Starting Achane and his 25 point performance couldn't save them this week. Will NGB right the ship and take back what they think is theirs or is this the beginning of the decent into mediocracy?"
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 1
"Down goes the king. NotGreatBob suffers their first loss after a lackluster performance. Mac Jones and Chris Olave couldn’t even combine for a single point. Hurst was bad, Evans got hurt, and Lockett couldn’t find the end zone. All this led to a grand total of 70 points. I guess that’s bound to happen when you have boom/bust players like Allen, Evans, and Lockett. Devon Achane is on the rise and is just another piece for NGB to play around with. I see brighter days ahead for this team. Despite the loss, I can’t dethrone the king and will keep them at number 1."
Scumdogs (grrouchie) [3-1]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 2
"Only 8 points separates the Scumdogs from claiming what is rightfully theirs, 1st place and world domination. The Scumdogs came in to compete against GET OUT who has some crazy good talent but luckily underperformed. Lamar Jackson finally came out to play and Justin Jefferson and Puk Nukem had great nights to lead the Scumdogs to victory, even with CMC trying to singlehandedly win the game. "
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 3
"Scumdogs had a tough matchup with Pads and managed to secure the victory. Lamar was legit and JJettas did his usual thing. Sutton was good and then Poopy Nacua hauled in his first ever TD alongside 8 other receptions. Conner and Mixon didn’t do much with their 12 and 15 touches respectively. Ford was also inefficient on his 9 carries. Pittman would have put up a goose if it wasn’t for his lone reception on a 2-point conversion. All this and the Scumdogs still put up the 3rd highest points on the week. I see a bright future with JT coming off IR any day now."
ScotchnWhiskers (mark2law) [2-2]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 4
"I'm throwing down some Scotch at the #4 spot because they put up the highest score on the week. Hurts, Williams and Henry all had over 25 points while AJ Brown said "Hold my Beer" and put up over 30 on the week. A dominant win!!!"
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 6
"Scotchn came out wanting to make a statement this week. The Hurts / Brown stack was dominant, combining for 62 points. Derrick Henry decided to remind people who he was and Kyren made the most of his 25 touches. Tyler Allgeier and Zay Flowers weren’t good, but that doesn’t matter when the rest of the team puts up 137 points. Highest scoring team of the week is hoping that this week will get the ball rolling for the rest of the year."
Get Out (Pads) [2-2]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 8
"I 100% know that Get Out is ranked way too low but it's hard to put them ahead of other teams with the same record who won a game last week. Pads could easily be #4 instead of #8, so I guess just treat this like a punishment for not beating the Scumdogs. CMC scored 45 points and the rest of the team scored less than 65. Stevenson and Waddle both under performed. Tua just wasn't himself. This team has the firepower to win it all if they can gain some consistency."
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 4
"Pads put up 107 points and CMC accounted for over 42% of those points. The Tua / Waddle stack couldn’t produce much. CMC and Tua were the only players who could get the double digits on the week. Gibbs is a bit of a mystery, but that’s what you get for being a running back with the Lions. Hopefully Stevenson can get more touches over Zeke and can do more than his 30 yards on 14 carries. Will Montgomery get the starts over Gibbs going forward, or will Pads stick with the 1st round pick out of Detroit?"
codycast (codycast) [2-2]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 7
"Last years golden child has some serious flaws but those flaws are not greater than the fuzzy flaws. Burrow, Kelly, Sanders and Higgins all had duds of a day but Diggs and Andrews said "Let the MEN show you how to win this game" as they put on their fuzzy shoes and tap danced a logical jig."
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 5
"Codycast couldn’t crack triple digits, but was still able to pull out a win this week. Stefon Diggs and Mark Andrews decided to put the team on their backs with a combined 55 points. A team with high end talent wasn’t able to do much this week. Sanders and Kelley were subpar, Adams and Kirk were just okay, and then Burrow, Higgins, and Cooper were all disappointments. That Burrow and Higgins stack is starting to get very concerning though."
Dirty Mike & The Boys (HartyPGA) [2-2]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 5
"Third highest score of the week and a big performance to put Dirty Mike near the top of the rankings. ARich came back from injury and put up another big 30+ Point game. Nico Collins crushed souls with over 30 points as well. Only AJ Dillon laid a turd on the field. Dirty Mike is not taking prisoners this year and the Boys are laying beatdowns!!!"
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 7
"Dirty Mike & The Boys came out to play this week, coming close to doubling their point total from last week. Nico Collins was the weapon of choice this week for Stroud. AntRich looks like the fun, new, QB cheat code this year, carrying the ball 10 times for 56 yards on top of his 200 passing yards. Bijan was his usual shifty self putting up 137 total yards but failing to get in the end zone. London scored in London and Dotson finally put up a respectable week. Godwin went off for 114 yards as well. AJ Dillon did his best AJ Dillon impression and put up 11 yards on 5 carries, but Dirty Mike was still able to win by nearly 50 points."
ShivaBlasts (jwv7244) [2-2]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 6
"Shiva is my favorite Underdog story (and no, I'm not talking about the cartoon from the 60's and 70's). This week they went into the defending champion and (at the time undefeated defending champion) and knocked them off their perch. CJ Stroud is proving that this rookie can play. Kenny Walker and Lamb both put up over 10 points and the rest of the team (especially Addison) underperformed. However, a victory is a victory and the ShivaBlasts need to take pride in this one."
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 10
"It’s not often that you can score 77 points and still pull out the win, but ShivaBlasts was able to do just that. Kenny Walker saw the end zone and put up a productive day. Add that to an average CeeDee game and you get just enough to get the win. Tutu, Bobby trees, Roschon, and Waller were all lackluster this week. Addison was nonexistent, only seeing 1 target in this game. Stroud is looking like the real deal and is a nice addition to this starting lineup though."
Michael Scott's Tots (BaileyOwen) [2-2]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 9
"Putting up over 100 points in a loss hurts, but when you are playing against the Hurts squad who puts up over 140 then crap happens. Josh Allen wasted a 44 point performance because Javonte got another boo-boo, Kittle doesn't play well with others, Tank tanked his performance, Pickens was Pickens his nose. One man cannot carry a team, and didn't this week!"
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 8
"Scott’s Tots came in with the 4th highest score of the week, but unfortunately ran into a hot team across the field. (S)Tank Dell did as little as possible and only provided 2 points on 1 catch and 2 carries. Khalil Herbert must be reading these power rankings because he came out with a vengeance, but was unfortunately on the bench. Josh Allen was elite, and it is looking like Aiyuk is going to be Purdy’s 1st option in the offense but there are still so many mouths to feed. Scott’s Tots will be looking to bounce back and will need help from Pickens, Kittle, and hopefully the Javonte injury isn’t too serious. Depending on these next few weeks Scott’s Tots might be looking forward to the draft with 3 1st round picks, or they might be in the market to deal and become more competitive."
Fuzzy Logic (Slattery) [1-3]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 10
"It brings a small smile to my face when I get to type up out the Mahomes and Kelce stack failed to bring a victory, again. Josh Jacobs who ran to daylight last year has more receiving yards than he has rushing yards this year and isn't as dominant. Aaron Jones forgot that he was healthy and playing. Tyreek Hill under performed, Hockenson did what?
The Fuzzy Logic can still recover and make a playoff push, but right now things aren't going well and this makes me cackle!!!"
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 9
"Fuzzy Logic can’t be too thrilled with this week 4 performance. The Mahomes / Kelce stack was disappointing and Tyreek didn’t go boom. Throw in a couple duds from Hockenson and Aaron Jones and it results in a week 4 loss. Josh Jacobs looked like his former self and Terry was slightly scary in his matchup. Jacobs and McLaurin were the only ones that wanted to produce, and unfortunately it wasn’t enough to take down Codycast. Slattery will be looking for bounce back weeks from his Chiefs and the former Chief (Hill) in week 5."
Delta Squad (OneTyrell) [1-3]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 11
"Delta Squad lost a hard fought game by less than 3 points and it drops their record to 1-3 instead of 2-2. If Coach had the caones to put in Kmet over the Unicorn or Start Michael Wilson instead of Cooks this game would have went the other way and Prestige would not be sitting pretty at #1. Delta still has the fire power to compete in this league and we still have at least 9 teams that can make a run for the Dysfunctional Trophy."
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 11
"Delta Squad unfortunately could not put up enough on the board to take home a W this week. No player on his team truly went off for a big week. There were a lot of average performances from Najee, Amon Ra, Thielen, Doubs, and James Cook. It must be time to take Kyle Pitts out of the starting lineup. Either backup TE in Kmet or Ferguson would have scored enough to put the Delta Squad over the top. Hopefully they will be able to pull out a victory in week 5 with a couple of lineup changes."
1-Putt Nine (GhostDad77) [1-3]
Grrouchie's Ranking: 12
"FORE!
Four games, 3 bad performances. Herbert and Pacheco did their best but Meyers, Musgrave, Downs, Moore and Hodgins all spent time twiddling their thumbs instead of contributing. The names all say that this team should be competing better but they are not acting as a team right now."
BaileyOwen's Ranking: 12
"Was the performance last week from GhostDad a 1 off or will there be more magic to come with this team? This squad lost by 50 and now features the lowest points for in the league through 4 weeks. Herbert was good and Pacheco carried the Chiefs to victory and put up 115 yards on the ground with another 43 out of the air. Meyers, Musgrave, Downs, Moore, and Hodgins were all disappointments this week. Hopefully this isn’t a recurring theme for the year or else GhostDad might be looking towards the offseason."
