2022 Week 7 Rankings

codycast (codycast) [5-2]

Change From Last Week: +1

Slattery's Ranking: 1

"BOOM. Highest scorer on the week AGAIN. It may seem crazy to put a 5-2 team above a 7-0 team in the rankings, but having 200 MORE points the second highest scorer in the league says A LOT. I'm going on this hill and I'm prepared to die on it - Codycast is the best team in the league, and I'm starting to think not even the great Pads will be able to stop this bulldozer of a team."

Grrouchie's Ranking: 1

"Wins and losses be damned. Codycast has won 4 in a row and his lowest points during that period was 150. Beat 3 of their last 4 opponents by 50 or more points and continues to roll through everyone once they figured out life. The team has also scored 233 points more than the Undefeated Pads. Codycast won last year and they are currently the team that will steamroll you no matter what this year. Codycast is the #1 team until they lose again."

Pads (Pads) [7-0]

Change From Last Week: -1

Slattery's Ranking: 2

"The streak continues. Again. It was a close one this week, though, thanks to two goose eggs on the team. Pads got lucky this week, but this team will need to bring their A game going forward if they want to stay undefeated."

Grrouchie's Ranking: 2

"Still undefeated and still fresh off a victory from the previously surging Delta squad. Jimmy G and the backup crew came in and won during a bye week when Gallup and Davis were nothing but distractions. Pads is taking a backseat to Codycast just because Codycast keeps putting up numbers no one else in the league can consistently touch."

Scumdogs (grrouchie) [5-2]

Change From Last Week: =0

Slattery's Ranking: 3

"Great teams close out close games, which is exactly what Scumdogs did this week. Plus, this team is getting a few very important pieces back from bye this week, so it should be all systems go for the rest of the season."

Grrouchie's Ranking: 3

"They aren't pretty, they aren't steamrolling their opponents, but this scrappy dappy doo group of Scumdogs got the job done again as a few, literal, last second catches pushed them ahead of Michael Scotts Totts by less than one point (0.98 to be exact)."

Fuzzy Logic (Slattery) [4-3]

Change From Last Week: +5

Slattery's Ranking: 4

"Scoring the third most points on the week even with a goose on the starting roster shows just how explosive this team can be when healthy. Unfortunately, Fuzzy Logic lost ANOTHER important starter to injury, which will limit this team's upside."

Grrouchie's Ranking: 4

"Fuzzy Logic is making a Quantum Leap from 9th last week to 4th this week based on their beatdown of ScotchnWhiskers who, considentally, was ranked 4th last week. Over doubling their opponents score and having key performances from Mahomes, Foreman and Big Mike Williams.  Next week will be a true test as Mahomes is taking a break, Mike Williams is taking an extended break and the team needs to know if Foreman was a fluke or the real deal? Also, Fuzzy runs into the Codycast buzzsaw next week and this might be their last chance to be ranked this high for the season as their hopes and dreams will be destroyed!!!"

PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE (lwinman) [4-3]

Change From Last Week: +2

Slattery's Ranking: 5

"There were parties at lwinman's place on Sunday night as this team absolutely demolished their opponent. Not many times can an owner say they doubled their opponent's score, and Prestige Worldwide managed to do that. Next week's matchup again Scumdogs will be vital for end of season seeding."

Grrouchie's Ranking: 5

"A jump from 7th to 5th. You could toss a coin and rank them ahead of Fuzzy Logic as both have the same record and both won last week to get here. However, Prestige scored a little less and gave up a little more during their victory. Next week Prestige has a chance to prove themselves as they take on the #3 ranked Scumdogs."

Michael Scott's Tots (BaileyOwen) [3-4]

Change From Last Week: +2

Slattery's Ranking: 6

"Good teams keep games close, great teams close out close games. This week, Michael Scott's Tots was only good, not great. It's okay, though, because the Josh's will be back and in full force next week, so expect this team to leap back up to greatness."

Grrouchie's Ranking: 6

"Currently ranking as the last team to get into the playoffs if the playoffs started today, Michael Scott's Tots sits at 3-4 but is getting Josh Allen and Devonta Smith back. Josh Jacobs looks nearly unstoppable as he keeps pounding his opponents into submission. Hunt, Sutton, Pierce, and Wilson are all big question marks and need to perform better if this team wants to make an actual run at the championship."

Delta Squad (OneTyrell) [3-4]

Change From Last Week: -2

Slattery's Ranking: 7

"The upset should have happened, but a goose from Doubs and an injury to The Sun God really hurt Delta Squad. This week will forever be one of those 'what if' weeks, and this season might turn into a 'what if' season if OneTyrell doesn't figure out how to recover from losing Breece Hall for the rest of the season."

Grrouchie's Ranking: 8

"The Squad went toe to toe with Undefeated Pads this week and almost squeeked out a victory. This loss probably came down to the Sun God only playing one snap and the newly crowned hands of stone of the league, Romeo Drops dropping everything that touched his hands. These two kinks iron themselves out and Delta Squad could start working towards that last playoff spot."

1-Putt Nine (GhostDad77) [3-4]

Change From Last Week: +2

Slattery's Ranking: 8

"When your studs play like studs and you JAGs (mostly) do what they're supposed to and not lose you the week, you get exactly what 1-Putt Nine's roster did this week. Almost everyone met or exceeded expectations, and that's about all you can ask for. This team could easily be a dark horse to sneak into the playoffs."

Grrouchie's Ranking: 9

"Fresh off a victory over NotGreatBob and repeatedly turning down the Scumdogs illicit trade advances, Herbert, Chubb, and JuJu put this team on their back and said BRING IT! If I had to pick a team to make a big leap next year it is 1-Putt."

ScotchnWhiskers (mark2law) [3-4]

Change From Last Week: -5

Slattery's Ranking: 10

"In a world that's all about 'what have you done for me recently', we have ScotchnWhiskers putting up the league's lowest performance on the week. This team may have some impressive wins and some high point totals in the past, but this week the cracks really started to show. Multiple duds and a minor/major injury to DK really hurt this team. The good news is this team is getting lots of key players back from bye this week."

Grrouchie's Ranking: 7

"Jackson has been under performing since his hot start, Drake was a one hit wonder, Gesicki is more up and down that the cryptocurrency market and DK Metcalf might be down to one functional knee. ScotchnWhiskers has some soul searching to do."

NotGreatBob (NotGreatBob) [3-4]

Change From Last Week: -4

Slattery's Ranking: 9

"Sometimes Fantasy Football just sucks, and no one knows that better than NotGreatBob. To be favored all week and to come up short because of basically one dropped WIDE OPEN touchdown (looking at you, Mike Evans) is BRUTAL. Hopefully this team doesn't let it get to their head and they can come back at full strength next week."

Grrouchie's Ranking: 10

"NotGreatBrady, NotGreatAlvin, NotGreatKeenan. These aging vets decided to wear the moniker of their name this week instead of performing up to their normal legendary status."

ShivaBlasts (jwv7244) [1-6]

Change From Last Week: =0

Slattery's Ranking: 11

"Shiva really made it a game this week. There was a point on Sunday where I thought Shiva might upset Codycast, but it was just fools hope. But, there's a lot of hope for this team now. Kenneth Walker looks like a STUD and should be a foundational piece for this team for YEARS to come."

Grrouchie's Ranking: 11

"Two weeks in a row and still not in last. ShivaBlasts took the fight to Codycast and nearly pulled out the biggest upset of the season. Their biggest offensive output by far (over 40 points better than their second best week) and showing some good fight after their win last week. This is the team everyone secretly hopes will pull out a victory (but you know, against someone else)."

Dirty Mike & The Boys (Magnum1Delta) [1-6]

Change From Last Week: =0

Slattery's Ranking: 12

"Daniel Jones is the lone high spot on this team right now. With proper coaching, he is playing very well and looks to be the QB the Giants thought they were getting when they drafted him all those years ago. One the plus side, Dirty Mike should have a very good draft pick in the 2023 Rookie Draft."

Grrouchie's Ranking: 12

"4 losses in a row, but everyone loses to the Undefeated. Daniel Jones showed some spunk and some legs and has been quietly having a good season. No production from their RBs as they managed to combine for less than 6 points. You cannot pin point a loss on any one player for Dirty Mike because Harris, London, Bellinger and Dillon all had under 2 points on the week.

Fantasy is Fickle and it has made Dirty Mike it's Bit...er...this is a clean family friendly rankings list.  No need for name calling.

My apologize to the Boys, but Dirty Mike needs to get you all in line and performing better."
