2022 Week 10 Rankings
codycast (codycast) [7-3]
Slattery's Ranking: 1
"Complete the upset of the #1 team? CHECK. Scoring over 200 more points than the second highest team in terms of total points scored? CHECK. Tied for the longest win streak in the league? CHECK. This team is doing it all right now."
Grrouchie's Ranking: 1
"Ok, I lied. I said that Pads was going to hold the spot rest of season. However Codycast came out Guns Blaing and beat the former Number 1 by 30 points. Brady, Adams and Hopkins seem almost too much to be fair for all opponents."
Pads (Pads) [9-1]
Slattery's Ranking: 2
"Pads finally had a dud game, scoring the bottom half. While this doesn't necessarily change much for this team, it does bump them down one spot for at least one week. They should be fine, and are essentially a lock to make the playoffs right now."
Grrouchie's Ranking: 2
"Best record in the league but soundly beaten by the #2 team. Fournette, Everett and Kupp are pissing in Pads Wheaties as they are coming up limping at the worst time of the year. Can Pads overcome the loss of this firepower?"
Scumdogs (grrouchie) [7-3]
Slattery's Ranking: 3
"Scumdogs got it done this week, but got it done on the backs of a few GREAT performances. If Taylor, Jefferson, and Conner don't perform to the level that they did this past week, will the rest of the roster be able to pick up the slack?"
Grrouchie's Ranking: 3
"The Scumdogs are still being outscored for the season by 5 other teams but they keep finding a way to win when it matters. Sitting at 7-3 and tied with Codycast, the Scumdogs overcame their starting QB being out. Can they get healthy now to make an actual playoff run or will they just become too cocky only to be trounced by Codycast?"
Fuzzy Logic (Slattery) [6-4]
Slattery's Ranking: 4
"Fuzzy's team went off this week, showing everyone that they belong in the top half of this league. What's funny is this team could have been even more dominate if they had the stones to start Fields over Mahomes."
Grrouchie's Ranking: 4
"Fuzzy Logic was ANGRY after last weeks defeat and trounced their opponent. Mahomes is playing at a very high level. Kirk got beamed up, Terry was finally Scary, and Toney looks like he could be a big issue to deal with as the season rolls on. You cannot count this team out."
PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE (lwinman) [6-4]
Slattery's Ranking: 5
"Lwinman took offense to last week's rankings/burbs and showed us all why Prestige Worldwide belongs in the playoffs. Even with a goose from Jerry Jeudy, almost everyone on this roster exploded, including players on the bench."
Grrouchie's Ranking: 5
"Keeping themselves in contention and racking up another win. The Dak attack was strong and Aaron Jones balled out. There are still a bunch of question marks on this team that keep them from being elite and Jeudy having a bum ankle doesn't help."
1-Putt Nine (GhostDad77) [5-5]
Slattery's Ranking: 6
"It wasn't pretty, but 1-Putt got the close win to bring this team back to .500, which will be key for the home stretch. How they manage injuries to Smith-Schuster and Goedert will determine whether they make it to the playoffs or not, though. (Side note, 1-Putt is REALLY lucky they didn't lose on that last second Goedert fumble)"
Grrouchie's Ranking: 6
"Continuing to come on strong and hoping to make that final playoff spot, 1-Putt takes the 6th spot this week because they beat ScotchNWhiskers who shares the same record as them. Can 1-Putt be this years Cinderella? Or will they be watching the ball on TV from their basement?"
ScotchnWhiskers (mark2law) [5-5]
Slattery's Ranking: 7
"This team lives and dies on the shoulders of Hurts, Henry, and Cook. When all three fail to explode (like they normally do), it makes for a rough week for ScotchnWhiskers. Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened this week, as this team lost by 0.2 points."
Grrouchie's Ranking: 7
"Probably just an off week for the Whiskers as on paper they have a roster to be feared. This was the case of looking past your opponent. Henry underwhelmed, Ertz possibly got a retirement boo-boo, AJ Brown became a ghost, and Amari Cooper was a Pooper!"
NotGreatBob (NotGreatBob) [4-6]
Slattery's Ranking: 8
"One could argue that this week, Bob was GREAT. Almost everyone on this team showed up in a big way. Will this team be able to string together a few impressive wins? That remains to be seen."
Grrouchie's Ranking: 8
"Bob sold his team off to the Scumdogs and then somehow decided to win again. With a powerful 2 TE set of Kmet and Higbee this team is proving to be NotHorrible"
Michael Scott's Tots (BaileyOwen) [4-6]
Slattery's Ranking: 9
"The Joshes are failing Michael Scott's Tots again. Well, really it's just one Josh that is failing this team, Josh Jacobs is out there BALLING. I wonder if the Joshes can rally the rest of the team to perform in the final stretch of the regular season?"
Grrouchie's Ranking: 9
"Having Herbert go on IR is going to hurt this team rest of season. Josh and Josh put up some good numbers but Kittle, Sutton and Aiyuk are studs that were Duds this week and helped this team collapse under pressure."
ShivaBlasts (jwv7244) [2-8]
Slattery's Ranking: 10
"Shiva tried to make it interesting this week, but ultimately fell to the highest scoring team. Still, this team has some pieces that are really starting to pick up steam. With a good draft this off-season, Shiva could be contending as early as next season."
Grrouchie's Ranking: 11
"The ShivaBlasts were the 3rd highest scoring team but that doesn't help when you run into a buzzsaw of Angry Logic. Rodgers finally had a great game and CeeDee Lamb had his best game of his professional career. Too bad this was a wasted Effort. The Shivablasts are going to be so fun to watch next year."
Delta Squad (OneTyrell) [3-7]
Slattery's Ranking: 12
"It's incredibly hard to win when you start one less player than your opponent. Delta Squad could have had the W if they made some different start/sit decisions this week, but that isn't reality. In reality, Delta is seemingly wasting Saquon Barkley's prime years by not surrounding him with talent necessary to win."
Grrouchie's Ranking: 10
"DeltaSquad made some bad decisions this week that cost them the game. They started newly acquired Elliott instead of Pollard and they also started Mack Hollins over Paris Campbell. Those two changes and DeltaSquad would have beaten the Scumdogs"
Dirty Mike & The Boys (Magnum1Delta) [2-8]
Slattery's Ranking: 11
"Dirty Mike rallied The Boys once more to make their game really interesting. Unfortunately, The Boys didn't do enough to over come their opponent, but for the first time all season, this team has shown life multiple weeks in a row. Kudos to this team's coach."
Grrouchie's Ranking: 12
"Dirty Mike & The Boys actually had a solid outing even if they came up with a loss. Vanilla Vick put up over 20 points and Godwin finally saw the endzone. Davis also had one of his good weeks. Wandale, Mooney and Dillon held them back from potential victory. Another team that could be a lot of fun to watch next year."
