2022 Week 1 Rankings

PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE (lwinman) [1-0]

Change From Last Week: +4

Slattery's Ranking: 2

"Nothing says "look at me" like taking down the reigning champ. Scoring the second most points on the week also doesn't help."

Grrouchie's Ranking: 1

"Knocking off the defending champs will rocket you up the charts. Combine that with Making the right start/sit decisions puts Prestige at #1 this week."

Scumdogs (grrouchie) [1-0]

Change From Last Week: =0

Slattery's Ranking: 1

"Absolutely dominated in the first week, even with a goose egg from Cam Akers. Scumdogs is gonna be a hard team to beat with Mixon, Swift, Chase, and Jefferson locking up their core."

Grrouchie's Ranking: 3

"Starting off hot with the highest score of the week and came up big on defense (points against). Another performance like this and the Scumdogs will be making moves To The Moon!"

codycast (codycast) [0-1]

Change From Last Week: -2

Slattery's Ranking: 3

"What? A team that lost is in the top 3? Why yes, they are. And even with the loss, I expect codycast to bounce back and run the table considering the players on that roster."

Grrouchie's Ranking: 2

"A rough start for the defending champs, however at 0-1 this team would have only lost to 2 total in week 1 so we're not going to hold that against then.  Let's see if they can right the track next week."

Fuzzy Logic (Slattery) [1-0]

Change From Last Week: =0

Slattery's Ranking: 4

"Underperformed a little but still got the W. Has a good core, but a little too reliant on boom-bust players to be considered one of the best."

Grrouchie's Ranking: 4

"Saved by Mahomes.  Having 4 starters in single digits is showing some early season chinks in the armor,  but the team did well enough to pull out the victory in a hard fought battle. "

Pads (Pads) [1-0]

Change From Last Week: +5

Slattery's Ranking: 5

"Had a solid showing in week 1. Starters really helped Pads push through for the W, but the flex position really held this team back from reaching it's true potential."

Grrouchie's Ranking: 5

"Kupp and Waddle did enough to secure the victory.  However,  4 players in single digits gives Pads a lot to worry about moving forward."

Michael Scott's Tots (BaileyOwen) [1-0]

Change From Last Week: +2

Slattery's Ranking: 7

"Carried by a few really boom players, I'm worried about this team's upside. Hopefully getting Kittle back will help."

Grrouchie's Ranking: 6

"Stars and Scrubs week 1.  3 players over 20 points helped propel the Tots to victory.  Those 3 players outscored his opponents total starting roster.  Everyone else was in single digits.  Let's see what happens when they face some real competition."

Delta Squad (OneTyrell) [0-1]

Change From Last Week: +3

Slattery's Ranking: 6

"Even with a L in week one, Delta Squad's core is solid enough to be a threat on any given week. Hopefully losing Harris and Mitchell does hurt the team too much."

Grrouchie's Ranking: 8

"Even with a great performance my Barkley, they couldn't do enough to overcome Mahomes.   Najee and Mitchell both getting injured could see a lot worse performances in the near future. Can Coach hold this team together?"

NotGreatBob (NotGreatBob) [1-0]

Change From Last Week: -5

Slattery's Ranking: 8

"Grossly underperformed, but still came out with a W. With the starters this team has, they should be fine and should be back in the top half soon."

Grrouchie's Ranking: 7

"The lowest scoring team with a win, but enough defense to keep his opponent down.  Putting up a goose egg at TE hurts and losing Keenan Allen might hurt more. How will the team adjust and move forward?"

1-Putt Nine (GhostDad77) [0-1]

Change From Last Week: -2

Slattery's Ranking: 9

"Just like Justin Herbert's Chargers in real life, this team has a few really special players on it, but the team as a whole just tends to underperform when all put together."

Grrouchie's Ranking: 9

"This team is young and under performing.  JuJu didn't step up, Mooney went swimming. Pierce was all pre season hype!   Week 2 recovery? Eh"

Dirty Mike & The Boys (Magnum1Delta) [0-1]

Change From Last Week: +1

Slattery's Ranking: 10

"Unfortunately, Dirty Mike & The Boys really left a lot of points on the bench this week. They had a solid outing from a few rookies, though. The future might be bright for this team."

Grrouchie's Ranking: 10

"Dirty Mike and the boys had the scheduling done dirty on em and ran into a juggernaut in the scumdogs.   However,  multiple performances under 2 points did them no favors.  "

ScotchnWhiskers (mark2law) [0-1]

Change From Last Week: -5

Slattery's Ranking: 11

"I feel bad for ScotchnWhiskers. They should be a powerhouse, but having to start TE's in the flex position shows off a depth issue they will have to work around all season. "

Grrouchie's Ranking: 11

"Lamar Jackson and AJ Brown were the duct tape holding this team together.  Unfortunately,  duct tape isn't helping when you have 4 players under 5 points on the week.  This team needs some life."

ShivaBlasts (jwv7244) [0-1]

Change From Last Week: =0

Slattery's Ranking: 12

"The injury to Dak will really hurt this team. I expect better things in the second half of the season, but it might be a rough first 6-8 games for ShivaBlasts."

Grrouchie's Ranking: 12

"7 players in single digits and your best guy was Robbie Anderson.  This could be a horribly long season for the ShivaBlasts!!!"
